      Thank you for the comment. We didint buy Saffron now. We bought it with the last harvest. It’s the same as Oil price and patrol. The oil companies buy oil 6-12 months in advance, but why do you not pay for patrol with current oil price?
      Afghan saffron, along with Indian saffron and Spanish saffron, are not the same as Persian saffron. The weather and environment is different hence different quality of saffron. It’s the same as Barossa Valley Shiraz and French Shiraz wine. They’re both Shiraz wine but one is more heavier and richer in taste.

        Because the Oil companies are extorting us.

        The oil companies buy oil 6-12 months in advance

        When OPEC cuts supply, the price goes up immediately. If the Oil companies have hedged 6-12 months as you suggest, they are ripping us off

        Mind you Iranian money crashed 3 months ago and now you buy these stuff like $2 per 5 gram? You need to adjust your prices going forward. We'll see how it goes.

      I’m sorry I hate to drag a non-related topic. If you prefer Afghan Saffron, it’s all good and no need to trash a post for Iranian Saffron.
      It is fresh saffron as the new harvest will start mid-end November till February.
