Just picked up from Bunnings:
All the AEG 18V Garden Range is fully compatible with the batteries and chargers you already own.

• Line trimmer with rear mounted outer rotor motor providing greater tool balance and maximum torque and 2-speed settings with variable speed trigger
• The blower has an axial fan design for efficient air-flow plus variable speed trigger for matching the airflow to the application
• Lightweight, compact designs and quiet operation make these tools ideal for use in noise-sensitive environments
• Potted electronics across the range to protect and extend the life of the electronic components

Model number: altbl1850x2.

Separately, these items at Bunnings:

• The line trimmer, charger and 1 battery for $399 (slightly different battery)
• The blower, charger and 1 battery for $299 (slightly different battery)
• Or just 2 batteries without a charger for $199

Moreover, AEG from today runs a promotion for this kit offering $179 battery

So, in total for $350 you get around $800-850 worth of AEG products if bought separately.

  Its been this price for months. And it was $305 a few weeks ago when Aldi had a sale on.

  The free battery redemtion makes this a good deal though.

    Thats because the ones that were being advertised at scoresby for $175 were being sold with no batteries. So you just got very lucky.

    They do fit the 2x18V mower. But ubfortunately they dont yet sell that mower skin-only. The only option is $750 with 2 batteries. By contrast they sell the 58V mower skin only for $350. So you are basically paying $400 for 2 18V batteries, which is a bad deal.

      So the batteries don't fit on the 58V motors?
      I think in comparison to Dewalt lawn mowers, the Dewalt tool batteries can fit on all their lawn mowers.

      Its very very good, and so is the blower. It makes the ryobi one+ combo Ive been using for years feel like kids toys.
