  • What would I need to watch TV in bed at night with headphones? There's so many options. I just want to get audio through headphones. Will it pair with a mobile phone via Bluetooth and use wired headphones into the phone?

    • +3

Hey Mate, Either the BA07 or BA09 can be plugged into your TV to transmit to Bluetooth Headphones.

If you are using wired headphones, you can use another of any of the three above to plug your headphones into to receive a signal. But it may be simpler and cost around the same amount to just buy some Bluetooth earphones.

The BA09 & BA07 have aptX, if you have Bluetooth earphones with aptX as well this will help to reduce any lag in the Bluetooth signal.

They won't pair with a mobile so the mobile will receive sound.

    • Get the BA07
Then some headphones with Bluetooth aptX

  • Hey I bought the tt-bh040. Would these pair nicely with the TT-BA09? Like does the headphones have low latency aptX?

    • Hey Mate, they will pair with the BH040s. The BH040 has ANC but not aptX.

That being said, I use the BH040 Headphones paired with the BA09 transmitter and don't notice any lag.

      • Follow up query, the main difference between the two bluetooth transmitters is that one has optical out and 3.5mm and the cheaper one is just 3.5mm?

        • Yes, that's right. The BA07 also hangs from the socket but the BA09 will sit on your shelf.

The BA09 also has Optical In & Out.

      • Hey Mate.

    Thanks just grabbed another BA07

Hi OP , I have (like many do) a pair of Bose qc35 . Given Bose don't support aptX what do you recommend for using with Bose headphone for lag free sync when watching video ?

    • I don't own Bose so I am not really sure, I know it is a topic that has been discussed a lot on the Bose forums.

I use the BA09 transmitter with the BH040 headphones and don't notice any lag when using them for watching TV.

I have Bose qc35 & they don't have aptx. There is noticeably lag when say connecting the BA07 to a tv and your qc35 to the BA07.

But if you get some aptx headphones, they work an absolute treat

Plug your QC35 into an aptX receiver using a cable. No lag with wired connections.

    • Hey Mate. I don't have a deal for those currently but hope there will be one towards the end of the month, around the November sales.

If you would like for me to notify you, send me a private message.

If anyone would like me to notify them when there is a deal for any TaoTronics, VAVA, HooToo or RAVPower product please send me a private message with that product in the title and I will notify you as soon as there is an active deal :)

  • Can I use this on a plane to pair with my Bluetooth headphone?

    • Yes, with the BA09 & BA07 you can. They both have inbuilt batteries and the larger of the two, the BA09 will still fit comfortably in your pants pocket.

Though, you may need to buy an airplane adapter

  • Hi OP,

Any idea if there will be a deal for the BH22 anytime soon? Missed the one earlier last week… I snoozed, I lost, I suppose…

    • Hey Mate. At the moment it looks like they may be planning something special for the November sales.

If you would like me to notify you when I have a new deal just sent me a private message :)

  • +1

Great product and superb seller. Highly recommended. They look after their products and their customers.

Anyway, I hope there will be another deal for the TT-BH22 soon.
