  • 1080p :(

    • I mean… yes, but it's 3840 X 1080 pixels. And I think height-wise it's not much more (if at all) bigger than a standard 24" screen, so the pixel density is still okay.

My god I don't even want to know how much this would cost if it had 1440p or 4K UHD vertical resolution…………

PPI is roughly equivalent to a 27" 1080p panel. Slightly lower actually.

      • Samsung just cut a UHD in half and sell for double.

Hahah kinda true. Though it's half of a 60" 4K UHD 144Hz 1ms monitor with Freesync…. that can't be cheap either.

@HighAndDry: 4K UHD with 144hz already in the market, tho not 60"

I bought the BenQ 32" UHD some time ago, using it with 150% scaling on Win10 and everything looks sharp and easy on the eyes. Hard to go back to FHD. The extra res is just useful for reading PDF docs and specs. And for the time being, running AAA games on 4K 144hz without toning down the graphics is not gonna happen without excessive waste of money.

Think its gonna be either 2560x1440 144hz screen for gaming, or UHD 60hz for general use until the new tech drops in price

jizz , this was 2 grand on release

    • +3

2 grand for jizz? I've slept too long

      • I think he meant

<jizz> this was 2 grand on release!

        because it is so exciting??

        • shopping at Myer/Harv Norman and looking at their price tags must've been very exhausting

Do yourselves a favour and get 3440 at 34'. This is horrid on the eyes and is even less likely to fit on a desk.

  • Damn I was just thinking about getting one of the Samsung’s now that the Kogan has gone up to 1200… at this price it’s a no brainer!! Coming from 1080p 27 inch monitors, this will be fine!!!

    • And add to that, the graphics card power to run any higher resolution is going to be fairly substantial…

Edit can’t believe how little pos reviews this thing is getting…

      • This monitor would be very similar to running at 2560x1440p in terms of graphics required.

  • Thanks bought one, now I just need to wait on a deal for a Vega 56!

  • Must ensure your table and your room are able to fit in this Ultrawiiiide display before purchasing.

    • Too LATE! we'll make it fit!

  • Anyone know how long these guys take to post, cause at the moment its looking like its gonna take a month to receive it!!! (based on there delivery dates)

    • Looks like they use TOLL / TNT courier services for larger items.

"Typical delivery times for Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane metro areas are 1-5 business days after the courier picks up the item. Outside of the mentioned areas may take 2-8 business days."

I've only bought small items from them before, shipping times are just sort of within the norm but then again I live in a suburb that's literally right next to where their store is.

      • They haven't market it as posted yet, hoping it would be here this week…but a bit nervous that they are Pre-selling them before placing an order with their supplier…(and the delivery date is December!)
