  • Hi! was the email from first choice liquor or flybuys? did you have to activate an offer to claim the 2,000 points? and I'm noticing a couple of products have 'bonus flybuys points' stickers e.g. Gordon's gin 700ml on the website, but not sure how many points are on offer, if there's anything there in the email that'd be helpful.

I've got about $120.00 worth of points I'm intending to spend on liquor (maybe four pillars gin and some peaty single malt), be great to get some more points rolling

    • answering one question myself, the bonus points for some products is 100 points see catalogue

You can get 3 cartons of Lorry Boys Pale Ale (or mix n match different styles) for $99 - https://www.firstchoiceliquor.com.au/Beer/lorry-boys-pale-al… - good deal + extra points (worth $10)

Edit: don't forget to activate CashRewards AND ShopBack when buying online. Up to 3% cashback on each.

  • Didn't realise that I had to add a code and hit buy. Emailed support about my oversight. Let's see what happens.
    Cheers

    • their support is usually ok. have you tried cancelling your order though? good luck anyway

They responded today that they will manually process the points.
        Happy days

  • To any Tasmanians thinking of ordering this or any other "deal" from First Choice Liquor, don't bother!

FCL have decided that they will only deliver to 3 Tas postcodes:
    7004 - Battery Point/South Hobart
    7005 - Dynnyrne/Sandy Bay
    7250 - Launceston

What happens is that you will not be able to complete checkout, because they will not show a "Delivery Method" section, which is required.

They have no notification of this on their website, even after logging in to an account with another Tas postcode set as the delivery address.

So, not only does this situation stink from a delivery policy viewpoint, they obviously cannot even run their website properly.
