I have one of these in my ensuite, it doesn't provide enough light to hurt your eyes at night, but enough so that you can see. I have both the rechargeable version and the battery version, and I actually prefer the battery version thanks to always having some Eneloops ready to go.

    • So it works fine with eneloops? No need to replace them every week?

      • +5

Ive had eneloops in these for the past 6 months in the bathroom and i have not changed them yet. its unbelievable.

I bought this and have been using it since last year Black Friday.

        • +1

how long do the batteries last?

          • @MangoUbe: I have one of these and the battery lasts for ever, its in the main entrance inside the house, I have not changed my cheap Aldi battery that I put in it over a year ago, IIRC, it was around 8 bucks when I got it.

    • Is there any difference in light between the rechargeable version and battery version?

  • In:

the light will turn on when human body is detected

by "human body" they mean "any movement"?

    • +3

If any movement turns it on and there was no one to see it does it light the room?

    • it actually detect human body … and their movement of course.
if I put my body under blanket and move around inside the blanket, it won't detect me, but if I put my hand out of it, it will detect me and turn the light on

I can confirm that my dog's body, which is not a human, activates the sensor in these lights.

      • Or is your dog really a human inside a dog costume?

  • Edit: Woops

  • been waiting for another discount. Really good night light

    Thanks OP, ordered one.

  • Ordered, thanks

  • Agree with a lot of comments here.
-Batteries last a long long time
-Brightness has two settings and I keep it on the brightest
    -Perfect brightness
-Looks better than the rechargeable one imo as well.

  • The rechargeable ones of these are great but haven't been on offer for ages.

  • It detects more than a human body. Lights up when my small dog approaches it. I use it above his doggy bowl which is in a darker corridor in the house.

    • Looks to be the same product as the one listed.

    • Why are you waiting for that? Are you expecting the price to drop?

      • +1

Not in a hurry. If it could be that price then, don't see why it can't be the same now or close to that. I can vote with my wallet. You have to buy food, clothing, petrol… but this is optional and if people were more diligent, they wouldn't be jumping on sales just because it is cheaper, but not as cheap as it was. Even with weak dollar and what not, this could be cheaper. I don't see why this should be almost $4.5 more than then.
