    Men's grooming box

    Hi OP,

Is this something you have to inflate?

  • American Crew, Clinique for Men, Acqua Di Parma, Mont Blanc, Lynx & L'Oreal

Ratio of clinique to lynx would be useful to know.

  • More subscription shovelware. How unnecessary. Take your business model and leave, thankyou

I didn't neg, I'll restrain myself from that, because at this price it might be ok so long as cancelled before full price.

  • So you pay a subscription to recieve stuff you may not require.

I'm confused by this company and can't understand the business model. They have a nice looking small store in the Sydney CBD and even there it isn't clear.

Now, if you're going to subscribe to a mystery box then the expectation would be that you get 66% off as a minimum with each box. However it almost seems like you're paying full price for these boxes (outside of the Groupon offer) . Why would I want to pay full price for a box of random stuff? That is the opposite of value as you end up with loads of stuff you don't need.

Mankind.co.uk used to do £25 boxes that were always worth at least £100. They were good because a) you got to see what was in them before ordering and b) they were worth a lot so a couple of dud products didn't matter. Unless bellobox does the same (they messaging is terrible if they do) then it's the worst business idea I've ever heard of.

FYI if you're a female then Look Fanstic still do boxes and you get big discounts on the products but they are a mystery. Still, it's much better than bellobox as at least they are discounts.

  • In fact here you go. Mankind have a luxury one on for Christmas. Nearly 80% off and you get to see what you get.

  • Good deal carleast,I guess I'm just not that vain.

    • Agreed. £100 is a huge amount to spend and a few of those items a things most people would never use. But at least it's better than belloboxes business model.
