  • Seems to be same as this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/413814

  • I was able to score it for $39 for 35gb + peace of mind data, recontracted from my $49 plan for the 25gb JB HIFI deal from april.
Try the first time but i was on phone, forgot about the cashrewards so did not go ahead. (I straightaway lead them $39 for 35gb with peace of mind)
Second time, the person said no peace of mind.
Third time, the person recommend me $59 plan for 60gb.
Fourth time, i straightaway lead them again to the $39 for 35gb for peace of mind. (it was quite busy at that time so maybe that might help)

I believe the key is to lead them to the correct direction or hint them the way.

    • I tried yesterday on chat to get this 2x (39 plan with 35gb or even 30gb), no luck as im recontracting they said.

Did you go through Chat or Phone to get this?

      • I had tried a few times but with no luck. First 3 times I was nice. The 4th I had enough as I have been with them for a long time so I asked them to transfer me to saves team via chat as I wanted to cancel. Guess what? They offered me the $10 credit per month for re-contracting for 12 months for the $49 plan with 30GB of data.

      • Through chat. I contact them again to complaint that JB hifi has $45 for 50gb.
They can only give me extra 2gb on top.
Currently they have promo for black friday so you might be able to get this plan now or maybe better if you ask for extra $10 loyalty to push it down to $29.

  • Just recontracted 3 of my mobiles to the $49 plan with a $10 monthly discount bringing it down to $39 with the 5gb Christmas bonus on each for 35gb total and $0 peace of mind data. Very pleased.

    • Thanks. Just told them everything I wanted that you were able to get and got it no problems. Was not expecting it to be that easy after last week being told i wasn't eligible for the $10 monthly discount.

      • It's honestly what consultant you get each time. When I did my first one they absolutely would not budge on the $10 discount. I tried a few consultants on live chat then tried ringing up speaking to another two consultants and finally talking to disconnects. Today I got a consultant and had to be a little pushy in the end but when I said I would recontract all 3 it happened no dramas. Out of curiosity do you just have the one service with Telstra?

        • Yeah I agree that its's definitely the consultant. I have 2 phone services and internet, Which the guy also dropped the price for me without me even mentioning. It went from $95 to $89 a month, while keeping the free premium speed boost I had from a promo when I signed up.
