Wish they'd go back to joining the 20% sales :(

Great mattresses though. I have recommended them to friends and family and all were very pleased

This Queen size price is better than 20% off normal sale, its from today's ebay deal which already applies 22% off plus use code to get further 5% off on top of it.

Are these really that good ?

    What about
    For kids aged around 10?

    • +5

      Just couple of down side.

      1. After almost 3 months still have that toxic smell coming from the bed. Maybe im sensitive but wife overlooks it and tells me what im talking about! Im questioning myself whether this has any health impact in the long run.

      2. Support from the edges are noticeably weak.

      • -1

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Tested free of harmful substances.

      • With mine the chemical smell was gone within 10 days. Support on the edges is weaker as it has to be packed in a box. I don't believe it impacts on sleep quality.

  • Would love some more reviews. Also hard to judge a mattress without trying it out first

    • Yes it is hard. But hundreds on people have posted very positive comments here, product review and eBay. For the price it is really worth a try. My husband and I love our Chiropedic Black Label urchased in March.

    • We love it, we bought 2 singles for the kids 2 months ago, it is medium firm, edge support nonexistent (as others pointed out), but very comfortable and feels high quality. Very thick though, so a standard fitted sheet (say, ikea) will not fit properly but is still usable. Hope this helps. Only major issue is not with the mattress but with the delivery, if it is delivered by Hunter Express, expect no communication and a mattress either dumped at your doorstep or taken back to the warehouse for redelivery (fee applies) if you aren't there to accept it. No calls to inform you it was or wasn't delivered.

      • Hunter Express for delivery? Yikes. Had a bed delivered by them.
Left on front porch with box split open, parts missing, found one of the feet behind the gate, and over 40% damaged/scratched.
        Never again.

I can confirm the quality if it. Ordered one 6 months ago amd the quality is excellent. Comfort level, thickness, firmness all is like compared to premium and most expensive mattresses. Did a lot of research before buying my first one. Just ordered another one last week for my guest room. The only issue I have felt is there can some shipment delays by few days. So if that’s not an issue this can be a great choice.

    • In March I ordered mine on Sunday together with the bed base and both arrived on Tuesday (Melbourne).

Did not get the 34cm one but bought the 31cm one about 3 months ago to replace my existing one from Melbournians Furniture that I bought 7+ years ago. The Melbournians one is far superior to this as far as I can tell…the only problem is that they don't deliver to WA anymore :(

Firstly, the 31cm one was advertised as a Euro pillowtop. It isn't - or at least it isn't like the former (with a obvious pillowtop upper sitting on top of the mattress). In this product I could feel the springs all the way to the top and it just had a normal spongy cushion top. I did not measure the 'pillowtop' height but it definitely did not meet the specs on their website - not even close. I even did a double-take at the box to make sure i received the correct product.

I didn't end up complaining to the sender for two reasons:
    1. I left it in the box for a month beforehand as it was initially for my parents to use as they visited for a week in September and I needed a bed frame first.
    2. It is still relatively comfortable and I get a good night's rest on it.

    Hope this helps!

  • We have a firm king mattress from Sealy, still bit too soft for me but my wife loves it.

This one says firmness 6.5 Medium firm. Is someone able to comment how is it compares to the Sealy? Cheers.

    • get the cheaper variant aka 'Assured Firm'

      Edit: Not on sale apparently

      Firmness 9/10

      • +1

Still way cheaper than 3 grand :)

        Thank you!!

      • Is it the cheaper version? Not as good??

        • mattress and pillow can't gauge on price alone

it's all about personal profile preference

    • I bought 32cm Single some time back. Didn't like (too soft, 6/10 firm rating)! Ended up getting 'Assured Firm'. Get a ball fibre mattress topper from Kmart, and it is great!

My brother uses these 34cm ones and he is happy!

Hey, its only $227.05 I'm rolling the dice…. it HAS to be better the empty beer bottles and broken dreams I usually sleep on.

  • +5

Can anyone recommend cheap mattress base which will fit this mattress?

    • +4

      Floor is free

  • +1

Bought one of these 6 months ago for $300 and have been very happy with it. Note that you need to leave it out to air for about a week as it has a strong chemical smell after you open it

    • "RRP $3599" - Pffft, who fabricates these numbers?

  • +1

Bought one of these in a 20% off sale, really really like it. Super comfortable.

Bought one of these 6 months ago and have been very happy with it.

And i had no issues with the smell.

  • I have found these mattress way too soft… And even though it was fine initially, after a few months, we started getting back aches…
Seems some people have had the same experience

    • I agree it's a bit soft and hurts when I sit on it when I watch tv sometimes, and soft on the edges. Otherwise it's good.

  • I've asked them if they can do a similar deal on a double. Hoping…

  • Get this one for $49 and free delivery. Surely not a scam.

  • $36 delivery for regional NSW

  • Pair up with 5% of eBay giftcards https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/417793. Just tried it—works a treat!

I am approaching close to 2 years on mine.

    Zero issues.

I have allergies/dermatitis nil sensitivity or 'chemical smell'

    Edges are less supportive, yes.

For the price, it really is ridiculously good. You wonder why other companies charge much more for the same thing.

  • Thanks OP! Been waiting for the 20% discount and this one is even cheaper!

Just have to wait for the next 10/20% for the single beds.

  • +1

Bought one of these about 6 months ago too. It had no chemical smell, arrived within a week and we find it very comfortable. My partner had one of the worst mattresses I ever had to endure so anything was going to be better than that. I researched a lot in advance and ended up purchasing it due to reviews and the price point. Even if we have to replace it in 5 years time it will have been well worth it.

  • +1

Bought one in a previous deal. Insane how good this is for the price. One of the best purchases I ever made. No regrets.

  • Sold out!!!

  • How is this compared to something like Koala bed?

    • From memory of the last sale, the Koala mattress is more comfortable, but for the price this is excellent. I was about to buy one for the spare bedroom, but it's sold out. Guess I'll wait for the next sale

  • Only need a single size, but it 200$, 20$ less than queen size T.T

  • Any tips on (legal) mattress disposal options?

    • Your council may offer an at call hard waste pickup or maybe take it to the tip

    • As Samsarahi said, ask your local council. My local council used to allow 2 household collections a year but that subsequently was reduced to 1. With the council permission you could probably dump some other junks along with the mattress.

  • Just wondering if this mattress heats up much during summer, while you are trying sleep?

  • Any better mattresses for people willing to spend a bit more (<$1k)?. Ergonomics are a must.

  • Has anyone used these ones? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Queen-Mattress-Euro-Top-9-Zone-P…

    Are they any good?

  • Got mine delivered just now, it is heavy and unboxed right away, quality looks ok, no strong chemical smells.
