      Sorry saw this too late just now, just for future reference: it does not count items from the categories excluded in the T&C. I had a 'dual battery kit' in the cart and for the life of me couldn't figure out why the discount didn't add up to 15% but some odd number significantly lower.

      I tried removing one item after the other to see what happened.

      Turned out that $79 item was classed as 'car parts'. Once I removed it the discount was 15% on all the other items (that in my case still added up to over $150). In your case the total might have fallen below without the excluded item(s).

    Just so you know, there is a problem with the shopping cart. At the moment, you cannot process more than 5 items in the cart.

      It seldom manages >5 items with out baulking at trying to calculate your cart.

      I find 6 is the maximum number of items

      Sometimes, by removing all and then re-adding them from scratch, it fixes it.

      Other times, the order goes through, then they demand payment be made again "Your payment needs to be resent- Sorry, your recent PayPal payment did not go through"

      Flakey at best, but that's fleabay for ya

      It only has to compete w Amazon, so due care/quality is not much part of their mix

      I got onto live chat (eventually), they said "We actually have an error with the shopping cart as of the moment but don't worry this has been reported to our Technical Team and they are working on it. For now, you can only checkout a maximum of 5 items in the shopping cart. That means that you need to save for later the other item so that you can proceed with the payment."

      So many issues with the ebay site over the last few years. It's not good for either side (buyer & seller).
