Not a good use of points. Eg. $50 iTunes card = 6750 points. You could potentially transfer those Amex points to Qantas at 1:1 and sell the Qantas points for 0.012 cents each = $81.

    • Beat me by 1 sec

    • where do you transfer the amex points to Qantas? Have 10k amex

      • Actually cancel that. I should have said velocity. Can still get 0.012 cents. Not sure you can do Qantas from Amex but I know you can do velocity cos that's where my Amex points go. Often see velocity on the classifieds here at 0.012 cents

        • Off topic but I just want to clarify terminology about money. I am a little concerned for your finances herbo.
          $0.012 = 1.2 cents
          0.012 cents = $0.00012
So make sure you don't conflate terms or you might seem to be worth less than you intend.

          • @stiiky: ha ha, yes you are correct. Was late at night after a few reds.

    • Or if you don’t want to sell points it’s still way better value to buy iTunes at 15% off and convert points to cash at standard rate

    • Can you please share, how and where to "sell" these points? I have points that I can sell. Thanks

  • How many points? Any bonus?

Otherwise better use it with a FF program (SQ, Asia Miles…etc)

I can’t find how to transfer the points. The website seems to have a circular loop - when I click on “redeem points” it takes me back to the login screen, which then takes me back to the redeem screen 😑
