You got 12 minutes left. You don’t need to be activated. Just sign up, click the 20% cashback link and have Adblock turned off. Once their 20% cashback link takes you to amazon, add what you want to the cart and checkout.
Ah, realised too late, the timer had run out on their website, but I guess that is because they extended it. SO, I tried again, still hate how you can't see if it is working, too much trust in a random system. Anyway, I still ran up to the time this deal expired again. Was going through the checkout, but needed to enter cc details as time expired. Figured they wouldn't count it, so didn't pull the trigger.
It doesn't say anywhere in their easily readable tips where you need to be in the process when their deals expire.

Gift cards aren't eligible for cashback, and using gift cards won't qualify you for cashback either.

Just to confirm, is it OK to have a random item sitting in your cart that you didn't purchase? just realised I had some pantry items in there after buying something via shopback.
Items that are already sitting in your cart after you click through ShopBack won't track.
You can add multiple items to your cart tho, as long as you click on shopback before adding every item to your cart right?
Then checkout all at once with any amount of items in your cart.

It should register but it's likely to be rejected later down the track. Approved voucher codes appear under the "Coupons" section of the store page.
if the code is only valid for one item in the order(say 3 items totally), would the cashback totally be rejected?
Should be on an individual item basis. On the safe side, it's of course better to place orders for all items not requiring a code.
