For buying more expensive items, like the Sony TV deals, Shopback's 12% is a lot better than Cashreward's 8%. I wish I knew it would revert back to 12% after the 20% (capped at $50) deal expired as I bought a 55" TV. The TV was $809 so I could get $97.08 back with the 12% cashback instead of $50. :(

If you're a Prime member it won't impact on cashback. If you try to purchase a Prime membership, it will not be eligible for cashback.
What about the free trial as part of the checkout procedure?

If you're buying expensive stuff from Amazon AU then take advantage of their 12% cashback, which is a lot better than Cashrewards' 8% as of now.

Don't stress folks. The tracking takes time. With Cashrewards I've found the tracking to be anywhere from minutes to hours to up to a day or more depending on the retailer. I'm new to Shopback but expect it will be the same. Amazon is not the fastest to report.
With such a large percentage cashback on this particular deal I'm not surprised many of us are keen to see the tracking confirmed given the rebate will no doubt have formed part of the decision to purchase (or not to).
Shopback is definitely not a scam. I've used them no problems previously and with all cashback sites, it takes time to register. What might help is if you look at your "cashback overview" and "click activity" and see if it at least tracked your click. If it did, I would assume the rest of it will be fine once Amazon report back to Shopback (if that's how it works)

The Amex offer expires 18/11/18. Smash bros ships on 7 Dec, Diablo 3 after mid Dec, so I won't get the Amex cashback then?

As you said that is usually. Black Friday is unusual, so might take longer time. I haven't seen anyone report receive confirmation. There is no way nodody got it right. I guess just wait.

Did you actually read anything or just click, click, click? I understand not doing complete research in the rush of trying to secure the deal, but you could just look at the link or read the rep's comments to see that it could take up to 4 days to track and 75 days for the cashback. That information isn't exactly hard to find.
I made a couple of purchases during the 20% and I think they are now showing up as tracked on my shopback account, however it just shows around $3… which isn't 20% off $45 :( ??
