  • X3 Hurricane - Product Information *

Ditch canned air containers and go for the good stuff: the X3 Hurricane is a handheld, cordless alternative to disposable cans of air. Built around a variable speed system, the device offers as much or as little power as you need, whether you’re just cleaning up the desktop or you need to get deep inside the cracks of your favorite keyboard. This system also allows you to control the noise level if you work somewhere quiet. On a full charge, you’ll get more than 15 minutes of continuous use, and the device can be charged nearly 750 times over. It’s not just for keyboards, either: use the X3 on retail displays, CPUs, camera lenses and mirrors, medical equipment, and more.

Still a great deal for $200ish. Next cheapest in aus is from PC Case Gear for $239 ex delivery, and the PC Case Gear isn't this latest variable speed model, it's the next one down.

I have owned one of these myself to save on the cost of buying compressed air cans when cleaning computers. And I wouldnt rate it as a good alternative at all. The air pressure simply is not strong enough to blast off caked on dust that you can find in computer cases. I ended up selling it. It may be useful for simple dusting jobs, but its blatant false advertising if it is a replacement for compressed air cans and/or industrial air compressors. I am now planning on buying one of the new silent mini air compressors now.
