Printshop Photo Workshop 3 DAY SALE, $15 + $4.90 P&H (#1 Best-Selling Digital Camera Software)

Best-selling Printshop Photo Workshop on sale, 3 DAYS ONLY

One of the easiest to use photo editing suites for Windows PC is on special for 3 days at www.dooverlackies.com for $15 with $4.90 priority shipping (from SYDNEY to anywhere in Australia). Insurance $2.90, which I think is optional. Express (courier I think, depending on where you live) is offered at higher cost too. There is plenty of photo editing software around. Print shop is the #1 biggest selling one in the world now, because it has some powerful features like Corel and can get simple but good Photoshop-type results, but is one of the easiest of the lot to use, so new computer users find it easy to get into.

Photoshop (Broderbund) made Photo Workshop for people who have digital cameras (if that's not already everybody!) who don't want to spend their life reading a manual, but want pretty good results instantly. I can identify with that! It would make a great gift too, especially if you have older relatives who are getting a digital camera, then want something to do with the photos they take, but aren't that good with computers.

Guaranteed authentic Aussie stock, in-stock in Sydney now, for both PC and Mac, so no delays, shipping is done daily.

    this is junk…

the software you get for free with your camera is most likely better…

Nobody pays for photo editing equipment aside from art/design students or professionals. And THEY wouldn't be buying THIS.

Oh crap. Didn't even realise it was my favourite oversell-themselves-site of all time - dooverlackies!

        • Is that a positive for them or a negative? I can't be sure. lol

        • +1

          It's a negative. I'm not a fan. Haha

        • They sold pretty epic stuff over the past months. Check out the reds on their deals.

  • online tutorials are so much better
did that star wars light saber effect on a video with a simple tutorial from howtogeek
    :D

  • "#1 Best-selling digital camera software" How do they make that claim? Do a search and this Ozbargain page is the third reference to the product!

Looks like a very old product too.

    • +1

It's a very very old software albeit an updated version. I used to use this on my Apple IIGS in the early 90's/late 80's to print banners back in the day when printers used hole punch paper.

      • Sure that wasn't "(The) Print Shop"? I used to use it on an Apple ][e ;-) This is a separate product from Brøderbund
PS. Lode Runner was their best product in my biased opinion. Just wish they could bring out a decent iOS app port ;-)

        • +1

I can't remember last weekend so I'd doubt I'd remember which version of the Print Shop it was. Never played Lode Runner. It was all Test Drive and Paperboy for me.

On topic: Definitely better products on the market. Cheaper on EBAY

    • How do they make that claim?

whilst this is very misleading and deceptive, unfortunately this kind of b$hit advertising is generally not prohibited by Australian Consumer Law.

    • Good question, it's based on overall sales. This product has a very long history, but this is not the Apple II version!

Isnt this the same as this: http://tinyurl.com/5ugkf6x

    • Looks like it!

cheaper and a better website too…

  • spam spAM SPAM

    • What?

  • No claim has been made that this item is the latest software. It clearly isn't, and isn't aimed at the power user. The Printshop franchise has been alive longer than most of the owners of the largest mouths on this forum! I see the usual suspects digging in with shallow opinions afforded only to those 'less travelled' among us..clearly this software is aimed at people who want good results fast, for users of XP who don't want to upgrade. Why attack people, dooverlackies makes opportunities for people who want things they can't get elsewhere, like the fantastic Joytech PC game controller offer last week which nearly sold out! The eBay reference is the same title, but likely an earlier revision, and the box shown on eBay is not the right box either. In terms of later software dooverlackies also sells Printshop 20, 22, Printshop 23 Deluxe, and Printshop 23 Pro, all at under RRP, for those looking for something more powerful that doesn't require the user to be either under 30, educated in graphic design, or both! Live and let live people…you'll be a grandparent too one day, maybe.

    • The eBay reference is the same title, but likely an earlier revision

And you make this assumption based on what?

This is not your first post where the item you posted can be found cheaper elsewhere. IMHO if you're going to submit something on OzBargain, at the very least try and do some price research first before posting it here.

      • Pauly, go sleep!

        • Look who's talking…

I'm 3 hours behind Ash, so I do the graveyards.

        • I finish work in 2 hours :(

  • By the way, thanks to all the buyers!

    • +1

is that the polite way to say "thanks for nothing?"

  • @Pauly, It's not an assumption, which hasn't stopped you from assuming it's an assumption :) we have looked up when the seller bought their stock. And @Tal_Shiar, my thanks to the buyers was sincere. No everyone is a hater…as I've pointed out quite a few times now…this software is great for people who are wanting a simple yet effective solution to image editing, who aren't power-users who don't spend their entire life online and makes a great gift for someone using XP! Cheers

    • Paint.net BAM!
      GIMP on Linux BAM!

      http://bit.ly/flcnpnch
Both have worldwide and universal support and they are free

      • And your grandmother has heard of neither of them and falls asleep when you talk. As I just nearly did….BAM!

        • with windows 7 even simple windows live photo gallery would suffice

PS My grandma actually asked me what software to use, guess who is using Paint.net/live photo gallery now for free……My Granny!

          edit: BAM!

        • This definitely isn't the first time I've mentioned this to you, but aren't reps meant to be nice to potential customers? :)

  • @spawnpoint likely story! And @Ashlea, I was being nice.
