      It costs $9 !

      • That's not our problem. Like headphones and charger, a sim would be nice.

        • That's not our problem

It is if you only have $8 and want one.

If I remember rightly, I think that even after unlocking these phones they are completely restricted to Telstra-affiliated SIMS/networks ONLY (at least in Australia), due to some technicality relating to: "… (they support) UMTS 850 only and [are] not suitable [for] use on other carriers".

If that is so, then it's worth a mention here in this thread I think. I have a similarly "UMTS 850 only"-limited phone, and notably ALDI SIMS work in it; presumably because ALDI-Mobile uses Telstra as their 'parent provider' (or whatever the correct terminology is).

I'm happy to be corrected if any of the above is wrong, I just thought it was worth a mention in case peeps think they can unlock these phones then use any carrier; which I suspect may not be the case.

    • I have Telstra one and unlocked it with a code from Telstra and it will not work on the Vodaphone network.

  • Good phone to pair with a cheap Aldi SIM as a backup.
