    Better button placement, improved battery life, new grip shape, slightly smaller/lighter.
    Other than ergonomics and battery life, no change to tech, same resolution & sensor.

    Imo, this provides more flexibility (lenses) and value for money.

    A6000 provides more convenince (small and light weight).

  Is it crazy to buy this and chuck a Tamron 70-200 F2.8 on it? I want that lens for what I shoot, if I like it I'll upgrade the body.

    No. Keep in mind what the lense is designed or and what type of shooting you require. If you want it for action you probably want a camera that has more than a pitiful 11 AF points.

        D500 (crop) and D750 (full frame) are good options if you have the money.

    I'd get the d5XXX range for action, 39 AF points.
    I had the d3400 in the past but wasn't satisfied with the autofocus

  Deal is back on again today. Debating between this or holding out for a deal on D5600 as I think the touch screen is something I'd need for focusing.
