Still expensive but good jerkey is worth it. Don't be mislead by the weights - 200g is a lot of jerkey!

    • Indeed, the ones you normally buy from woolies are like what,40g? and taste no where as good

  • BTW chief just noticed the chilli sauce range, which one is the hottest?

    • +1

Ultra is painful and the hottest of them all.

      • What would you say if i dipped some flame arrow in that :O

      • +2

        but is it just silly?

I like heat, but i like it to be reasonably tasty as well.

what 3 flavours would ppl suggest?

        • Just a thought :D still have some left from that kilo bag i got last time.

          buckshot, blazing saddles, sidewinder IMO

flame arrow if you like the extra kick

-I like chilli, go figure xD

  • Still waiting for my free sample…..

    • -3

Dude! get the f*** over it! Its Just getting annoying now… (18 or so months!)

plus there are sooooooo many flavours, how do i know which is good, :(

      • There is a sampler pack with all 7 flavour for $7 with free shipping.

        • ordering it now. :)

heres hoping i get the sampler, tried it all and order all before the 13th!

        • +2

Just wondering how many pieces of each flavour you get? Obviously not expecting much for $7 but want to know if it's enough to actually appreciate the flavours.

        • +1

i've been meaning to try this for ages! i am getting the sample pack now - if i like it will this easter deal still be available by the time my sample pack arrives and i've tried it out?

        • Well i guess its too late to warn u guys about the sample packs, its damn small!
mostly less then 1cm x 1cm, seriously it should be free, or maybe just pay for the postage, seriously i felt ripped off when i saw the size of it. i know its sample but comon for $7?

at the same time lucky i brought the sample pack and tried it and found they all tasted nearly the same, blend soya flavour, i'm still shock at some of the comments on how great those tasted, anyway each to their option, oh and my wife said the same thing too

        • I'm wondering the same thing too.

Would we get the sample before the sale is over?

        • +1

It seems Andy2 is going to complain on every sale we do for some reason?
Do you work for another Jerky company?

I would just like to point out Andy2 that postage is $$3-4.50 to most parts of Australia.
Then the packaging of the product and the product itself which is of high quality. We give you a sample of each flavour (each sample of each flavour is under 10 grams) but you get a taste fo all flavours. Everyone else has been happy because the sample pack has done its job.

And on your last post you mentioned that you could get 500grams of Jerky for $7-I would question the quality of meat if you take in concideration it takes 3 kilos of Topside to make a kilo of Jerky….?

Sorry for that whinge but as you can imagin we make nothing for the sample packs but they do there job.

          Kind Regards,

          Mark

        • To answer ur question, nope i do not work for a jerky company, and no where did i mention i paid $7 for a 500gm package, so get ur facts straight!

I was genuinely interested in your beef jerky but was put off at the high price tag, however after your comments i decided to purchase the sample pack for a taste test and see if it's worth the price, boy was i wrong!

Also if you had read my comments properly instead of jumping to conclusion, i did not say anything bad about the quality of the beef, although now that i remember there is 1 piece in the sample that was slight tougher, but that did not worry me.

All i said was to me it didnt taste very good, its just 1 note!, to me it tasted like horrible soy flavour, almost all the same, some with more soy some with less soy , and some with soy and chilli power.

In fact instead of criticising me and be so defensive you should have taken the comments and improve on your product, is that how u handle all negative comments?

Like i said its my own option (and my wife), and this is a open forum, because i have purchased your sample pack i believe i'm entitle to my options

        • +2

It is an open forum Andy

I just dont like getting slammed- I dont mind an opinion.

          And I quote-

          is it just me?
i dont understand how $90 for a kg of jerky is cheap?
you guys obviously have not try the Asian's variety at your local asian grocery store at $7 for 500gm , its spicy and very tasty and has been around for over 20yrs and yes its made in australia, using ozzy beef

        • +1

Sorry Andy, but I have to agree with the Chief here.

I ordered the sample pack for $7, and it served its purpose. The portion is exactly that -A SAMPLE.
It was more than enough for a friend and I to sample each flavour and figure out which ones we liked most.

For those complaining about the price, get over it. It's $7… the cost of a 1 beer if you're out in town.

I forgot to mention, the jerky is amazing!
Spicy Shaman is the best.. Blazing saddle and flamin arrow are too hot for my liking. -although I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to spice!

I've been waiting for another special to come around, I can't wait for a my 3 x 200g bags!

        • +1

…and the big chief facepalms Andy. Awesome

  • +1

Any chance of a 1kg special? Buying 600 gms for $50 equates to $83.33 per kilo - pretty good, but hard to convince the missus $83 for something only I eat is good value!

  • Ah well couldn't help myself and ordered the sample pack. Look forward to trying them with a nice cold Dr Pepper :D

  • +1

give us free shipping chief - that's what we want - and you'll get heaps of people jumping on board

    • couldnt be bothered waiting - ordered the easter special

      god i'm impatient

  • I dint know if anyone will read this - but I got my jerky today and it's first class. Sooooooo much better then the stuff from supermarket chains. Delicious. Get on board
