It is too expensive compare to local stock

    • Local stock comes with direct drive head(same as V8). This one has turbo drive head. Also cash rewards might make up the difference Imho.

No. $999 less 20% on ebay regularly. Anything over $800 is not a deal.

Anything over $750 is not worth posting IMHO.

  • Are you able to suck up something bigger than your little finger nail on this one.
Hate that I have to go on all fours and pick up the smallest stuff to vacuum on v6.

Are you able to suck up something bigger than your little finger nail

Yes, as long as the finger isn't attached.

Hate that I have to go on all fours

You get used to it after a while and learn to love it.

  • Not sure the v10 absolute is worth a $300 premium over the v8 absolute (plus v8 was Aus stock)?

    • Imho, having owned both, it is. Battery and power.

But, if you don't have carpet, and have a smaller house - no.

  • It’s been this price the whole time on amazon over the ‘Black Friday’ sales. When it does go on sale, I’m hoping for 610-650ish. Which would stay in check with the animal and motorhead

  • Definitely a deal compared to the Australian $999 - 20% offers because the US V10’s come with a superior Torque vacuum head. Here in Australia the V10’s only come with the same Direct Drive one the V8’s have. Also eligible for 10% cashback.

  • The V10 absolute + is constantly $999 - 20%….rather have the local stock with 2 year guarantee.

Bonus kiddies Dyson toy at some stockist.

  • If you have a old Dyson already you can call them up and they give you 25% discount on RRP pricing

    • say what now?

    • what? how does that work?

      • I've got a 15 year old DC15 (bought over with me from UK) & an old handheld one, called them yesterday to say they are both a bit crap now & they said as they are both old models I can have 25% off the price of any new vacuam. Unfortunately RRP only so couldn't get discount on the weekend specials.

Give them a call they seemed pretty helpfull

  • Could have got local stock from Bing Lee for $760 on ebay by paying with discounted gift cards. Much better deal IMO with a local store to return to if any issues.

  • 799 on Bing Lee if my memory is correct.

Regularly $799 after 20% off on ebay AU. Sorry, not a bargain at all.

  • The post says free shipping with prime. How can I get this??
The amazon website says international addresses are ineligible

    • Worked fine for me, shopping on the Australian Amazon store, getting delivered to an address in Australia, my Prime account is also through Amazon Aus

  • Agree with most people here, not a great deal, it's regularly $999 less 20%. Got the v10 absolute+ 2 months ago for $749 with the free Dyson Dok ($199) on Dyson Australia website. Credit to 45rpm for sharing coupon code during the Baby Expo.
Unless anyone was really in the need for one otherwise wait as they always do promotions.

    • Thanks, will aim for $750 + local warranty
