          Yea it is, depends on what features you want and what is important. For me personally id rather pay more for the bigger bin since I'd be using it for a whole house clean.

    How do people go about adapters for converting the plug? Is it as simple as getting a US to AU plug or do you need something special?

    V8 absolute or this one ? I bought v8 absolute from myer ebay last week for $507. If this is better i can send v8 back.

      I know it is already expired but yes it is better than the V8, if you can get it for that price again, worth returning the V8

          Myer wouldn't accept it once open. Don't waste your time with them, just call up Dyson once you have found a good deal.
