This seems like terrible value for a 1060. What am I missing? Form factor?

      ASUS, ROG, Zephyrus.

Pick one, I had the initial 1080 model, impressive tech, but you pay for it….

      Max-Q design, 120hz G-Sync & IPS screen.

i'm not a computer pro - i myself am waiting for a good laptop deal

For a 1060 it is a bit pricey considering it doesn't have thunder bolt either you might be a bit reluctant.

If you are interested in dell (20% off with PRIZER) [some people don't like dell's quality]

it has a Max Q (but supposedly it benchmarks almost the same as 1060)

256 Gb SSD and 16 gb Ram, same Processor

The dell also has thunderbolt too for $1,699 with the code.

    • 1060 kills this deal.. Expect 1070 at a minimum for this price.

Its expensive because thin & light

still, for the price, this one is better

  • Quite exy for 1060, got my boy an Asus FX503 few months ago with 1060 too from hardly normal for $1300 only, although its running i5 which only being slow for games installation, but most games can running on high without issue. Except if you can stand the noisy fan …

  • Picked up a helios 500 with a 1070 for 2500 from domayne. Bit of negotiation needed but the helios 500 is a beast. Highly recommend

Depending on what your work is, I'd highly recommend against this. To be fair, I'd generally recommend against spending this much on a laptop.

  • This is decent, but this really needs to price drop a bit further like its MSI counterpart has been. The whole Max-Q line-up needs to hit a better price point in subsequent generations.

The MSI GS65 Stealth is nice. But it's a bit hard to upgrade by yourself. Zephyrus is easier to upgrade. Gigabyte Aero 15X is also nice, but not a lot of retailers here sell it.
