Okay, this isn't a sale but it definitely is scarce item.

I just had confirmation that Dyson Airwraps will be available in next 30-60minutes this morning sometime today to be purchased online.

There is only 500 units apparently online so first in first serve and when Christmas is around the corner it's unlikely they'd replenish before Christmas. I've been waiting for stock for over a few months now.

Dyson rep said they don't know if stores will have them but if they do only Adore online, David Jones and Myers exclusively have them which you can get around 3%-5% cashback if you are lucky.

Just to add a little more fuel to this fire, I called Dyson up and they confirmed that you can only purchase the item online and not over the phone. Rep also indicated that this batch is likely going to be the only ones available until next year.

    Would highly recommend you test it out before dropping $700 on this! It creates beautiful curls and cuts down on styling time but they fall out very quickly (compared to a blowdry and want curling) and my hair goes back to straight after less than 30min…

    Don't bother, they are not in stock, there may be a few in some stores but majority of airwrap online orders have been cancelled

                  @itsfree: That I purchased the gift cards specifically for the airwrap and wanted a refund to my card - they were swamped with the same calls so you shouldn’t have an issue getting it refunded :)

          I bought the David Jones gift cards from the Suncorp Benefits App this morning because the Entertainment Book was out of stock. I only got it at 6% off rather than 10% off (from the Entertainment Book). My David Jones order is still pending but I doubt it will be honoured looking at the comments. I guess I will also be stuck with the David Jones gift cards now. :(

    It is RRP idk why anyone would buy this, doubt many will. Many many alternative more reputable brands out there a lot way cheaper and better feed back. Do salons use these no! I think Dyson should stick to vacuums.

    Spoke to someone at David Jones - they never had additional stock and have hundreds of customers who's orders can't be fulfilled.

    For those Ozbargainers in Sydney, I work at the Dyson Experience Pop Up store at 106 King St in the Sydney CBD at the northern end of Pitt St Mall. We have the Airwrap in stock as of this posting and have a number of styling stations to try it out with qualified hairstylists. It's a fun experience. If you're after an Airwrap, please come in and give it a go!

    As we're a pop up, we can only take credit cards accepted by PayPal, no cash.

    I apologise in advance but please don't ask me to buy one for you or set one aside, I'm afraid it's against the store policy set by the company.

    Ask for the manager and mention you're an Ozbargainer. I can't give you any discount but I can give you a smile and a knowing nod.

          We are a simple little Pop Up Experience so unfortunately can't provide shipping and only have a PayPal-based credit card reader so cannot take phone purchases.

    David Jones cancelled my order. Would not refund gift card amount into credit card..subsequently made the purchase from the Dyson Pop up store opposite the entry in Westfield Parking entry - if anyone in Sydney would like one they have stock!

      Because the DJs return policy is that whatever you paid with, is how you get refunded i.e. pay with gift card or Amex points, refund to gift card, to try and reduce fraud. Not sure how the other commenter got his money back to a credit card when they paid with gift cards; must have either kicked up a massive stink orrrrrr had a newbie.

    Got one when it first launched, waited for 10 days to delivery. I'd say it's a revolutionary product, planning to give this set to my mom. but it's really hard to get another one… sad

    Guys, my DJ order got cancelled today, went over to the Dyson pop up store in Syd CBD. They've got heaps. Lady there said they were selling ~40x units a day, so seems they have a special pool of stock.

    Kudos to the store manager for great service.

    $699 price tag.
