[Pre-Owned] Xbox 360 Kinect Sensor, No AC-Adapter $4 @ EB Games

90

Kinect sensor for Xbox 360 without AC Adapter (preowned) $4 at Eb Games.
I bought 2, one to use as a 3D scanner and another one to use as depth sensor for a robot, so I am not using them for its intended purpose.
They also have sensors with power adaptor included for $15.

*NOTE: This Kinect sensor is only compatible with the new Slim format XBOX 360 consoles.

They've been this price for most of the year. Seems to alternate between $4 each and 3 for $10.

From previous deals, stock is hit and miss at most stores - most have none but then the odd store has loads.

      Who needs 3 Kinect sensors!?

I paid nearly $200 for a kinect when first released.

    sob

    • Yeah Me too :(

    • Well its because of people like you they thought it would be a good idea to make the XBox One come packaged with a Kinect instead of a more powerful GPU. I hope you're proud of yourself!

BTW I just realised the 360 was released iver 13 years ago and the XBox One over 5 years ago.

It may be old but it is still a delight. Not sure why Microsoft ditched it 🤔

    • Yeah, it was a great technical feat. I feel that Microsoft should have used that team to develop VR helmets when Oculus just started, those guys were already doing tracking really well.

Yep when Oculus said the initial rift was coming with an Xbox controller and Sony had announced their own headset I was certain Oculus was teaming up with MS and it was going to work on Xbox with full body tracking via connect.

  • does this work for "windows hello" to login with facial recognition, or does it need to be the XBOX One version?

  • Hello, which version of XBOX will this kinect (with adaptor) work perfectly with? Does it work with XBOX One S? Also are the interactive games easily and readily available?

  • Got one, thenk you.

  • Fruit Ninja on this is alot of fun for an extra $3.53…
