I spoke to operator over there while i pay, he says its promotion for another 1-2 hours.

      • -2

Wow well what do you know - some people running servos actually don't sting people just because they can.

If it's for another 1-2 hours than maybe put that into the expiry of the deal.

i'm getting nostalgic about that fuel price

      • +1

LOL please make a meme 😂😂

  • +2

Don't forget an extra 4 cents a litre off with your Drakes Supermarkets fuel offer.

  • Can't remember last time it was that price. Enjoy, luck ones.

This station annoys the crap out of me constantly, it backs up half of grange road with everyone queuing up to get in. Same with Henley.

    • +8

It should be the other stations that annoy you, the ones charging 20c/L higher than X-convenience.

      That's why there is queues

  • +7

Damn. I'm in Wellard, not Welland. Only one letter off!

  • I’m so happy that there’s going to be one opening up very soon at Seaford

    • +1

yeah, cause we need another servo at seaford…

      • X convenience stations are usually cheaper than those other big ones. Sometimes significantly

      • There was supposed to be an OTR opening too, before they started building the new Liberty that's opened (shortly after Bunnings opened there were a couple of shipping containers on the block next to Bunnings with a big 'OTR coming soon' banner on them) - guess that fell through or something though, seeing as we've since had another Liberty open, and soon the X Convenience one too. You're right though - that's 5 petrol stations within 1 km of each other now… but if it results in cheaper petrol thanks to additional competition, awesome :)

great! the roads will be safe whilst all the Camry drivers head on over to this Servo!

    • -4

I HATE Camry drivers! Buch of pelicans.

    • +6

excuse me, i drive very safe, i only use 1 hand to text. becaue i'm eating with the other hand.

    • -2

Toyota Camry with a tissue box on the parcel shelf = shittest drivers in the world

      • I beg to differ, the ones with an Uber sticker on the back window are the worst

    • Don't blame the drivers I used to have a Camry and when they advertised they were going to have blind spot cameras I said to my wife they must be placing them all around. We didn't realise just how bad it was until we got a new non Camry,so many blind spots and I thought my eyes were going as I had trouble seeing at night with on coming traffic I don't have any trouble with the new car

      • No such thing as blinds spots you've just not been taught how to set them mirrors up properly. Neither did I until I got professional driver training.

        • No such thing as blinds spots

How many children have you reversed over?

        • Obviously never driven a Camry :) as I said I my original post I don't have the same problems in my new car, I have also never had a problem in my other cars including 2 older Camrys so I highly doubt it's me not knowing how to set the mirrors. The view in the mirrors isn't the main problem it's the front pillars and the actually mirror body that create part of the problem reducing visibility and I also believe the slope of the windscreen allows reflection from of the top of the dash and just gives crap visibility at night

I have my stick shift in my left hand and a couple of nuts in the other…

Will it be worth driving from melbourne.

  • Get in quick before the guy with 5 Jerry cans comes to fill up…

    • Broden strikes again!

  • -6

Still not worth going to SA.

  • Turns out they need to drain one of the holding tanks for maintenance. Being the bottom dregs its much lower quality with a greater risk of fouling. Hence why they can sell it so cheap.

    • -2

Yeah sure. Just beating on the run at their game.

    • The bottom dregs will be minimal due to how holding tanks are filled in Australia.

    • +2

Being the bottom dregs its much lower quality

That's why I only use the first half of every jerry can and throw the rest away.

The higher fuel has more octane and gives more performance!
