Damn.. I saw that 10 mins ago it was $359 from $398 and had draft post ready for $319 since eBay post ;-)
    Now All 3 colors available

  • Great deal, just got the blue ones. Going to cancel my Prime subscription after christmas so I'll jump on these deals.

    • Hi Broden - I am looking to buy a midnight blue carry case if you would consider selling!

Amazon probably matching the ebay deal earlier today.

Seems like amazon is making its mission to crash eBay sales.
They have a lot of money to burn

    • More like eBay is burning money to stay in the market and not let Amazon push them out of yet another region.

      • -2

I've said this before, eBay has literally lost 85% of my online shopping share this year, barring any amazing bargains leading up to Boxing Day, can see eBay being phased out totally next year, only for cheap apple/micro usb chargers.

        • Thing is a lot of major retailers like officeworks operate on ebay so if Amazon garners enough attention they will start migrating towards Amazon (centralised facilities would be enticing)

  • +4

eBay pulling out of CR/Shopback and having bogus '20% off' sales is killing that business here in OZ. I hope their marketing/strategy team are doing their homework.

    • What happened with eBay pulling out of CR?

      • Gone, they don’t offer it up anymore

  • Just bought 2 :) Great deal OP!

  • +3

Sigh can they just lower the damn Sony already?? All these Bose deals are killing me.

  • At $303 this is pretty much the best ever pricing for these cans. I feel so lost when I've left them at home

    • +3

If i am not mistaken these went for $299 during the Black Friday sales.

      • +2

Exactly why I said "pretty much"

        • 299 before 10% cash back or 319 before $50 cash back. Homework mate.

          • @Jamesx: Gee tough crowd. Upon further homework it seems this is the second best ever pricing for these cans…

            • @Hinee: Don't worry, some of us knew what you were getting at! These certainly are still a great price, no matter if it's been cheaper before.

      • He is not wrong. With TRS this would be around $270. If $299 you cant claim.

        • TRS is shit, I tried at Melbourne airport, they make you wait long queue and tell you there are so many rules that disqualified you from claiming

          • @Jamesx: Did you know you can pre-apply online? All you have to do is then present the QR code.

          • +1

@Jamesx: download their iPhone app, easy to use instructions for upload, go through the app que at the airport, shouldn't need to wait more than 10mins

          • @Jamesx: Were your items eligible to claim gst in the first place?

        • How strict are they if the invoice is $299.99? would they honor it?

          • +1

@AndyRates: you're dealing with a bureaucracy. If it is not $300, you can't claim, so no, pay $300 to the seller and ask for a receipt for $300

        • Can I open the box and use it before claiming TRS at the airport?

  • Is this new of referb?

  • +1

Don't think I could get myself to pay more than 269 that was available during Black Friday sale.

  • is a tax invoice provided?

  • Anyone know how they are with PS4 compatibility? Including the mic etc?

    • Wireless won't work. You'll need a splitter or specifically designed cable to allow mic in+audio out

    • No good, you can't even use these on a PC as a simultaneous mic/headset wirelessly. They do come with a cable you can plug into the controller for audio, but these aren't the droids you're looking for if you need voice.

    • +3

I purchased a pair in the Black Friday deals and use them with my xbox almost every day. I bought a 3.5mm bose android audio cable for the QC25 that has a mic inbuilt and it works fine on the QC35 for audio and voicechat with friends.

      • I did that too. You can get these QC25 Android audio cables for only $7 on eBay.

  • Hi,

Can any one please suggest, this QC 35 II will come with Google Assistant..? in the product description it was only mentioned it comes with in-built Amazon Alexa..

    Thanks.

    • +3

It has a dedicated button that triggers Google assistant on your connected phone.

It isn't really built in, so much as design ed to work with Google assistant.

(Google assistant uses the internet to process your requests, so the headphones can't do anything since they don't have an internet connection of their own)

(Source: my wife has a pair of a 35IIs and an android pixel)

      • Thanks, its helpful

  • Got these for $299 during Black Friday and had them for a week.

    Wasn’t entirely sold on them.

I ended up selling them for $310 on Facebook and got a pair of Sony XM3 for $330 instead. The NC on the XM3 are definitely better. They do get slightly hotter than the Bose.

    • Which would you say are more comfortable for long periods of use?

      • +2

Fit and comfort wise I prefer XM3 and they feel better when I’m lounging around at home.

But if you want to wear them on the go and you have sweaty ears, then Bose is the one to get.

  • Off topic, anyone heard of the brand "aiaiai" ?

    • Yes, Headphonic (headphones.com.au) have sold them for a few years now. I've never tried any of their products before, but have heard people on the forums there rate them highly.

  • Black seems to be OOS.

  • +2

At ozbargain we should add benchmark (the lowest) price so we know what should be the sweet spot as price wise.

  • Black Sony XM3 back in stock on Qantas Store.

    • I was waiting for that to come back in stock but when it didn’t last Friday, i just got one from HN instead for $330 with AMEX cash back :D

  • +3

Tried to get Harvey Norman to price match this but they're not willing to do it "Price is significantly lower than RRP". Seriously?

    • +1

Lol as if you would even bother with Gerry!

    • Yep, their price match "guarantee" is to match the RRP - instead of their Hardly Normal regular pricing.

  • Done! Blue ones unavailable but didn't want to wait to see if they came back in stock.

  • +2

$300.77 with 6% cash back via shopback!

    • Same, have u used shopback before? How long does it take to get your cash back? Cheers

      • +1

They mention within 75 days in notes.

      • +1

I have used it a few times since the Black Friday sales and seems to be working great. I have $72 in Cashback in my account before I bought the headphones and will use it whenever I can really.
Although I haven’t banked any of it yet.

    • Got an email from ShopBack saying the cashback is $17.45?
      That's not 6% of $319.95…
However, as per email, "Cashback tracked is an estimation of the final value and is accurate as of Dec 12, 2018 5:47:09 AM. Cashback amount is final upon confirmation, subject to merchant's validation."

Let me know if you got the same cashback amount…

      Cheers.

        Less Gst.

God damnit.. finally pulled the trigger. Couldn’t bloody wait for Sony XM3

  • Arethe sound quality of these as good as the corded version?

    • It's bluetooth so I don't think it can possibly be as a corded pair.

      • I guess it's a trade off being wireless?

  • "Also remember cashrewards currently at 5% making it $303.95"

Could someone please help me with steps to avail this 5% cashrewards?

  • The blue ones are appearing as $358.05 for me now…….

  • why no one is waiting for Microsoft surface headphones

    • are they even going to launch in AU?

From what ive seen ill be deciding of those, these bose and the sony MX

  • eternally waiting those ones ( or Sony's) be less than 270 to pull the trigger…boxing day hope is all we got now!

    • I think USB C on the Sony and better active noise cancelling will be my deciding factor. People were complaining about the inline mic quality but seems to have been a manufacturing issue that was resolved with replacements.

  • Price changed now: $340.39, silver and blue more expensive at 388/397
