  • I thought 1 month was standard? or is it usually 2 weeks?

    • I believe it's usually 2 or 3 weeks, certainly not one month.
I took them up on this offer previously, it's pretty nice and easy. Just make sure you cancel! (have to do this on the phone)

there's a "cancel button" at the bottom of your account settings…

        • dammit jv, I was editing my comment when you posted that reply and the edit didnt work :P

During my free trial, I accidentally posted the DVD without the QuickFlix envelope (don't ask).
To my amazement, the DVD somehow made it back to QuickFlix, even though it had no address or anything.

I wouldn't recommend trying it though.

        • It wasn't there when I went to cancel and I'm pretty sure I looked everywhere. I ended up calling the number provided and surprise surprise they tried to talk me out of it. I said they didn't have any more titles I wanted, which was true, the ones I wanted had a long waitlist.

        • I had the cancel button when I signed up before, but it links to a text asking you to call their customer service. But the support person I spoke to was pretty good, canceled with no questions asked.

  • i am completing my 2 months of free rentals this weekend… :)

  • they are asking for CC details

    • Yes, this is because they will start charging if you forget to cancel. Also they hang on to your CC details "in case you want to reactivate".

There are heaps of such promo deals so don't worry about missing this one if you are not ready,

    • ^ as above and also for security, just in case you don't return the DVDs back.

Go to www.quickflix.com.au/giftcard and use code XM-619A5 for 2 months of the unlimited plan.

edit: this code is from a giftcard I got so not sure if it works multiple times. I haven't used it myself.

    • It works I just tried it

      • Yep, works for me too.

Worth noting its only free DVD rentals, Bluray aren't included. Sadface.

"Access to Blu-ray titles is not available during your trial membership."
        In the FAQ.

  • I am always nervous that they're going to get lost in the mail..

.. and that they don't believe that they got lost :/
