Just returned yesterday from a two week stay. Want to go back today!

  •

    Superb prices!
At those prices flying non budget airlines is worth the $100 or so difference.

Store Rep, any specials for Europe? First time planning a trip to Europe. Not sure what airline to go with and cost for flight.

Flying out of Sydney end of April to 1st of June.

  •

Just booked last week for $60 more pp….

What's the best provider (e.g. byojet vs mytrip vs bestjet vs skiddoo vs etc etc etc) for cancellations/changes?

    • +1 vote

Never used any but Byojet is owned by Flight Centre if that counts for anything

    • +1 vote

I honestly wouldn't risk any of those providers if I was looking at doing changes or cancellations.
Best to have a look directly with the airlines.
Might be $100+ more but at least it doesn't void your entire flight if you wanted to make changes.

      •

I would think you could still change or cancel the ticket directly with the airline even if you bought it via a travel agency?

        •

When I booked a Virgin Australia flight via BYOjet, VA customer service didn't even want to talk to me.

Had to cancel my flight via BYOjet instead and eat a $170 flight change fee on top of the fees Virgin charged. So be wary - you get cheaper flights on BYOjet but any changes/cancellations will be very expensive!

        •

It all depends on the type of ticket sold to you whether from agency or from airline. There are many different codes for ticket types and lots of different rules. What an agency will most definitely do is charge you an EXTRA fee on top of what an airline would charge you for any changes if changes are possible.

Thats a good question as i see their names come up on all the IWTF searchs. Maybe the rep can jump in here?

    Perth flights?

  •

Is any check in baggage included at these low fight prices?

    •

AFAIK, All full service airlines have them included, including Qantas & JAL here

    •

Yes, qantas and JAL are full service airlines.

Beer and wine free as well, spirits YMMV, most likely $$.

Good luck enjoying the rainy weather in June.

  •

Some of those times are during Sakura (Cherry Blossom) although you would want to check a forecast!

  •

Everytime this is posted I sigh, one day…

Anyone going to Tokyo and wants real good ramen, try Mutekiya in Ikebukuro.
Best ramen IMO but the star is their pork. Worth the 45 minute wait

  •

booked with Mytrip. I'm a bit terrified that they will screw me over but the yolo ozbargainer in me took over….. god help me

  •

    Cheers OP.
School holiday sorted for winter 2019.
Managed to add Osaka to our trip for a few more $.

  •

FYI I booked this yesterday $633 return From Melbourne with JAL , still great prices to be had. I booked through BYOjet after finding it on Skyscanner.
