256MB ASUS EAH3850/G/HTDI/256M (DDR3) Graphics Card - $110!

111

Stumbled over this and had to buy one myself - is nearly 1/2 what it should be.

These cards perform at about double the 8600GT's.

Asus is a fantastic brand - one of the better hardware makers AND it comes with a full game that retails for around $70 itself!!!!!

Absolute bargain any way you look at it.

  • this looks pretty good! MSY has the ASUS 3850 with 512MB of RAM for $199.

  • Tests show that the 256mb version is almost identical in all benchmarks to the 512mb version too!

  • $33 delivery to Metro Adelaide!!!

    • Apparently they charge a BOX RATE for postage - so you could tack a bunch more stuff in and pay the same rate - but I AGREE - thats an over the top rate for postage if you seriously want interstate buyers!

HAVING SAID THAT……can you find another one even with the postage on for even close to that price ($110+$33)?

Oh and here's a review done on the 256mb vs 512mb - showing the 256mb is basically exactly the same.

  • Perhaps a little harsh to vote negative, I ummed and erred whether or not to vote at all, but in the end I thought the negative might draw more attention to the outrageous postage..
I'm interested in this, but just don't really need anything else, and I'm far less interested at $143 than at $110 +$5 post.

    • Even with outrageous postage - it's still $50 cheaper than anywhere else!!!

Why vote neg for this deal is awesome. Buy 2 of them and pay for postage only once… Use them in crossfire.

In crossfire - these cards beat an 8800 Ultra.

Can't believe this is getting negatives…

  • Thanks for this! My father-in-law wanted a cheap video card and 1GB of DDR RAM. I was going to get it from umart [$99 (8600GT) + $59 (1GB RAM) + postage] but this video card is not that much more and it'll give a heap more performance. Final price was $181 - $110 (card) + $38 (1 GB DDR RAM) + $33 postage.

    Thanks again!

    • I think postage is a bit more sane if you order multiple items. For a Canberra delivery it is $22 so I guess I'll just wait a couple of months and buy it locally for probably less anyway.

  • Well postage for me is only $10. This is great value.

  • ITEstate is well known for their stock level inconsistency.

They advertised it and often they said it's out of stock…

    nevertheless..

    GOOD BLOODY BARGAIN !!!

    • If a store claim to have items on special and then claim its out of stock.
That really gets me and I wouldnt praise the store in anyway

  • Got mine today.

I'll probably end up overclocking it to squeeze some more performance out of it…from what I've read, if it's overclocked it can almost be on par with an 8800GT. Asus even sell a factory overclocked version called the EAH3850 TOP.
