    Cheers TA!

  • Thanks ta

  • Wow that sucks.. did a $150 order 30minutes ago and part of it is already packed.. :-/

  • lol I was reading terms & conditions in Shopback to join…. i'm with you once again CR

    • guy/girl who reads terms and conditions.

  • Does cashback work on preorders? Thinking of the New Super Mario Bros U for Switch for $74 ($7.40 reward).

    • +1

Very last dot point in the OP:

Pre-orders are eligible for Cashback only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.

    • yes it will, but i think you'll find the amount isn't that high as its based on the ex GST price… at least thats what i have seen over the many months of doing it

      • Most places go by ex-GST price. Only eBay seemed to have gone by amount spent. Easy way to calculate back is item cost ÷ 1.1 × cashback percentage

  • Any decent deals on Amazon to take advantage of this cash back?

    • The XBox One S 1Tb deal?

  • +1

Damn literally just made a purchase through cash rewards 30 mins ago @ 5%!!

  • +1

on the morning show, channel 7. Well done TA. $15 cash back for new customers only :) :(

  • All camera gear in my cart price jacked by 10% overnight…coincidence?

    • +1

If only we had the power to influence Amazon pricing this way :)

Please remember to clear your cart first (see first dot point in OP) if you intend buying.

      • -1

Thanks for the tip I didn’t actually know that :)

All good, unfortunate that some sellers have put up pricing just before cash back bonus :(

  • Hi. I am in the free trial for Amazon Prime, so does the CR still work with that? Sorry for my English :(

    • +1

Don't see why it shouldn't; Cashrewards tracks the purchases you make, which you should still be doing with Prime.

      • Thanks so much for the info. (y)

        Cheers

  • I've been seeing deals beforehand with Amazon having cashback up to 11 or 12%. Is that a common occurrence, or were they the exception rather than the norm?

  • Still haven't received notice of my CR being tracked from a Good Guys order 3-4 days ago. Any idea how long this takes? Pretty peeved considering it was 6% of $1300~, and never misses a beat on Amazon.

    • +1

TGG and Amazon use different affiliate programs which results in different tracking time. As per the TGG page on CR, tracking takes 1-7 days.

    • You should have received tracking by now, but can take up to 7 days. Was your transaction in the exclusion list?

Cashback is not eligible on the following brands: Apple, ASKO, Miele, AEG, Neff, Bertazzoni, La Germania, and Falcon. This includes all products for these brands.

If the above doesn't apply to you, please lodge a cashback claim after 7 days and we'll investigate on your behalf with TGGs.

Also, please note it's 'up to 6%':

      https://www.cashrewards.com.au/the-good-guys

      • Nah it wasn't, it was a Surface Laptop 2. I'll wait the 7 days and then file a claim. If I provide a screenshot of my web history saying I was attempting to use CR when making my purchase, would that help my claim? Cheers for the help.

        • Cashback on tech is currently 3%. Ultimately it's up to the store once we lodge the claim as they run analytics to confirm attribution. The more details you can provide, the stronger the case is.

Great. The price jacking has spread to Amazon as well. I had an item saved that I was going to purchase finally thanks to this deal, and of course the price has just increased…

    • +1

There is absolutely no way Amazon or their sellers would be upping pricing due to an external cashback that most of the general public don't know about and use.

Amazon pricing changes whenever it wants to. Can go up and down within the same 24 hours as I've been noticing.

For Amazon sold products, I think they do pricing by shipment batches. They seem to work out what they can sell it for based on how much they purchased that particular shipment for; and then change it for back-ordered stock if the price they're buying for changes.

Also, when they price match another company, it doesn't seem to last the day as it appears they only match for the stock they currently have, or if back order; the first batch they are getting in.

  • SHOPBACK works on mobile, whereas cash rewards says to use a desktop.

I don't have desktop and hardly open my laptop, everything is done on phone nowadays.

(SHOPBACK advises to have an empty cart prior to signing in)

Will CashRewards be able to do via mobile soon?

    • +3

The reason the mobile site disabled is to stop the Amazon App opening after clicking from CR, as doing so will kill tracking. If we were sure that everyone using the mobile site didn't have the Amazon App installed, then we'd certainly enable it on mobile. Having said that, please use our Mobile App as this means all your shopping remains within the App ecosystem and tracking will be fine. Further, please read the first dot point in the OP re Amazon carts.

      • Thanks for your reply.
Will endeavour to always use the app now.

      • Thanks for reply. I'll often open CR once I see a deal posted (for instance) so have been in the habit of using it via chrome pages on mobile as the next tab/page
I'll endeavour to go via the app each time now.

      • When Cashrewards loads on my mobile, I just change it to desktop mode and cashback has never failed to track at Amazon.

        • I use the Cashrewards mobile app (NOT Amazon/any other app), and tracking has been 100% perfect. Every. Single. Time.

  • +1

Thanks TA. Used this to pick up an Oral-B Genius 9000 (White) + free 4 pack of refills for ~$138 after cashback. Now to wait for the tracking email.

  • great to hear "no cap"

  • Do any cash back sites offer cash back for purchases made on Amazon US?

    • Hi dust. Not sure if you're referring to the Global Store. If you are, see here.

  • Great deal. Thanks TA.

  • Probably not the best place to ask, but I'll give it a go.

I just used Cash Rewards to buy something off Amazon, but I clicked through everything before realising I had the incorrect address.

How do I change it after I've already purchased?
I can't see a button to 'edit' or 'cancel' orders, which is what the instructions on amazon site says to follow.

    Thanks for the help.

    • +1

Jump on chat and they’ll fix it immediately. However, be aware that any changes to your order could mean that Amazon declines your casback. Best way is to have them cancel your order and start over via CR.

      • +1

        Thanks mate.
I looked for a chat option, couldn't see it.
        Will try again.

Will ask for it to be cancelled if that's the case.

        Appreciated.

  • Damn, missed this yesterday. Any guesses to when we will see the 10% cashback again?

  • Just missed..When is the next one?

  • Haven't received the cash back tracking from my Amazon order yet. Have anyone had the same issue from their purchase on 17th ?

I sent an inquiry to cashreward but wouldn't expect any prompt response given they would be flooded with inquiry during the holidays sale.

    • *Update: Just got a reponse from customer service team and they are looking into it.
