Their loss. It's only 8ish hours and then you can spend the money saved on delicious food! :D

      • And the benign climate means that you don't need to travel with kilos of extra just-in-case clothing and footware. Carry on allowance is plenty.

Scoot is actually quite good, better than Jetstar and Air Asia.

    • scoot is great but airasia has far better and cheaper food.

      • Scoot pilots adhere to SIA Pilot training.

AirAsia adheres to its own training prorgans which drive aircraft into oceans.

    • Agreed, I use Scoot a lot for super cheap flights to Europe from Singapore, you can find bargains and save so much money doing this.

  • 10kg carry on is a bonus.

    • 10kg suits most people, no need for extra bags.

      • I'm more worried about them one day enforcing the size (if they don't already). I haven't been forced to test the size of my luggage in many years but I'm always worried about that bulge in my backpack.

Shame you can't bring knives, scissors, drinks and other weapons on board though.

Never again. Flew from Singapore to Macau via scoot and it was disgusting. The plane there and back both stunk. The floors feels like that sticky nightclub floor. There was what appeared to be booger and poop finger painting on almost every surface. The plane sounded like it was going to break up just from taxiing to the runway. There was no policing of the cabin baggage limits. Everything was broken or loose. The seats were uncomfortable and heavily worn…

I thought Tiger and Jetstar were low cost airlines. Scoot is on a whole other level. Hell, I would fly Air Asia again before I would ever set foot into any Scoot aircraft.
