Can it remove the poop chute?
The video posted above mentions the product as a deveiner as well but I can't tell if it did get rid of the poo chute. You could use a toothpick.
This thing only works if you're trying to peel cooked prawn or if de-shelling fresh prawn only when it's fresh, not thawed from frozen.
Also, you still gotta pull the "gut" out after with your finger…so yea sounds good but useless in reality..
Only makes half the work look like it could take 5 seconds less! Still got to remove the head yourself.
I peel my own prawn
Prawns taste much better when peeled by my own natural fingers.

I can't believe how useless these are. The bottom half of the mechanism is too narrow and just cuts the prawn.
