Thanks for posting this deal OP.
Was going to get one for $120 for my travel vloging alongside my macbook, but glad I held off.
    Can't complain at under $80

    Edit: Ships within 1—357 Days.
    AHAHHAH thats funny idk why

      Ships within 1-357 days.

The programmer didn't properly account for a delivery period crossing a year boundary.

      • I guess I can't complain if it doesn't come for a whole year then..

Don’t forget to price match at Officeworks for a further 5% off.

    • +1

You beauty! Totally forgot about officeworks! Thanks

    • I actually ended up buying from Office Works for $80.75.

      • Shouldn't they be doing it for $79 - 5% = $75.05?

        • +4

they will add delivery charge before price beat

          • @ozdesi: Nope. My local showed nil stock on hand but I went in to the store anyway. They were holding the stock behind the counter. The price ticket on the shelf showed $119 but then it scanned at $136. I got the price match on 2 units at $75.05 each.

            • @MaMan: I was talking about official price beat policy not your local store casual staff who didn't knew about it

              • @ozdesi: Ok it was the manager that authorised the price beat. My win either way. All good.

Buy two through their eBay store and get them for $73 each using the PACKAGE15 code

  • Tempting! Does anyone already have one/used an ssd from Samsung? I've always been with WD so not sure whether to go for this!

    • This is one of the best portable SSDs on the market

  • Very good price. I'd been watching this for last few days too.

  • Great price but I’m hanging out for a 500GB sale

      • where is the click and collect from?

        • Old Guildford NSW

  • Ebay only 75.05 used code 5% off .

  • I recently bought a Samsung 860 Evo Pro 256GB SSD for $85, and another $11 for and SSD case. Had I known this deal was coming up, I would have held off as I don't have a need for another one.

EDIT: Just bought one as a gift for my bro via eBay using the 5% off code!

    • Buy 2 use eBay code PRIZE for 10% off , pickup works out to be $71.10 each.

      • I barely needed one, definitely don't need two, but thanks for the info.

    • @Trishool,

      • Yep, after buying my Evo 860 Pro 256GB SSD, I submitted my claim for $10, the original price of the SSD was $95, so the earlier quoted price takes into consideration the $10 cash back for the model I purchased. Thanks for the info though, it's appreciated!

    • but this t5 is tinyyyyy

  • When I put my postcode in I got "ships within 2—356 days". Nice estimate.

  • just bought one from Moore Park Supa Centa store. Told them it was on discount $79 and they didn't even check. lol

  • What's the use case for this as opposed to a regular 2.5inch ssd in an external case (at greater gb/$) ?

    • Nicer smaller better quality built . I think we could name more

  • OOS on their ebay shop.

  • Supposedly this reaches transfer speeds up to 540 MB/s on USB 3.1 'GEN 2'. This distinction seems important, since my board is rocking 3.1 Gen 1. Does anyone know how this performs on 3.0 or 3.1 Gen 1?

  • Appears to be back in stock! Just ordered for $79 +$6 delivery.

it seems like this is going to be a regular price. I would just wait for better deal to come.
