The second deal is on the Joyroom JR T02 Bluetooth 4.2 Earphones. Features include True Wireless Stereo, an inbuilt mic and a charging case that can recharge the earphones 3 times to full charge.

What is Quick Charge 3.0 and VoltIQ?

Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology is 4x faster than conventional charging and up to 40% quicker than Quick Charge 2.0. It typically charges a compatible device from 0% to 80% in 35 minutes. It achieves this by increasing the voltage from 3.6V to 20V with 200mV increments. This technology is backwards compatible with Quick Charge 2.0 and Samsung AFC which is capable of charging a 3500mAh battery from 0% to 60% in 30 minutes.

VoltIQ is for devices not using QC technology and charges up to 5V/2.4A in each port.

  • can I use it to charge Huawei P20 pro?

    • +1

It will charge the Huawei but not as fast as the stock car charger as they're using their own proprietary fast charging technology called Huawei SuperCharge.

    • Of course it will charge, probably just not as fast as a Huawei SCP-enabled charger (I think P20 Pro supports up to 4.5V5A 22W)

      • Correct, 4.5V/5A at 22.5W ;)

My Tronsmart 42W QC 3.0 3 Port Car Charger buzzes when in use

    • +2

That is called coil whine which is normal for modern electronics and is not dangerous. However, you have not made any attempts to contact me to rectify the issue have you? No. I'm happy to grab your order number and see what can be done.

      • I wouldn't say it's normal… I haven't heard it on most products I've purchased. I have heard it before, but I stop using them when they make a weird noise and return under warranty. If it's out of warranty I throw it out.

Argon should have sent you a msg though to rectify.

Item was purchased from geekbuying just warning others thinking of purchasing one.

Mine broke within 1 week of use. I suggest buying a better quality product

    • Didn't receive anything from you either! What's your order number so I can organise a replacement/refund?

      • Thanks, sent you the details.

    • Just got mine. And its not working. 2 out of 3 slots dead.

  • How good the charger is with S8?

    • The S8 is using Adaptive Fast Charge which is Quick Charge 2.0 rebranded so this will charge it quickly.

  • 30-40 days shipping? Why this unit over similar priced more local stock?

    • Yes that's standard for free shipping from China.

  • Hi, Any deal on the Tronsmart U5TF ?

    • No stock unfortunately.

Couldn't see any option to input the promo code (without creating an account), gave up

    • As is standard with most websites these days you need to create an account.

Any particular reason why you don't want to sign up?

      • As is standard with most websites these days

        Not an answer.
Any particular reason why the creation of an account is required?

        • Yes it is. I'm not a Geek employee as such so I can't give the official reason but a lot of websites require accounts to be created to make orders. Normally so orders can be logged, tracked and referred to easily.

All you have to do is provide an email and password. If you're concerned with privacy then this is the least of your concerns. Perhaps use the Gmail + trick that most OzBargainers use.

  • Anything on the U5TPA?

Sometimes I wonder why I tick the box. No matter, what is your order number? I will get that sorted.

      • nevermind, I just checked and its there, came after 60 days since order/dispatch and during the week I was away. thank you for your support.

  • Hi, any deals on car FM transmitters?

  • No option to enter the voucher code when checking out with PayPal on mobile, so I gave up.

    • +1

Click Proceed to Checkout instead. You can still use PayPal.

  • OP - I ordered one from last deal, but they never worked. I did not bother to return it, but now that this deal popped up, I remember it.

    • Do you have a Mazda? See sleepycat3's comment below.

  • Any good to charge a dashcam?

    • +1

      Perfect for dashcams

  • Good charger, but the connector is slightly too short for new Mazda's aux ports. It works fine on my Honda but not my Mazda and it cannot contact the power connection.

Coil whine only happens when I am charging at high current, such as a QC2/3 powerbank. No whine on a QC2 phone.

  • Is this not a "PD" charger? Looking for something to charge my Macbook (i've used a 30W PD charger which seems to work fine)

    • Correct, it's not PD, it's QC.

  • Received the Charger yesterday. That’s pretty quick delivery 👍
