    • Mine does exactly the same weird things as yours. I think they are either intended designs or we have the same faults.
Edit: FN+WIN+L does nothing. It supposes to lock my computer.

  • Those that have received it, did you tracking update at all or did it just arrive?

    • +1

I was getting tracking updates via text.

      • Damn! Mine hasn't changed from the 29th: "Shipping information approved by Australia Post". I'm just being impatient I guess

        • Mine is the same as yours.

          • @Forphucsake: And I just got an update it was processed at facility and eta of 7th.

            • @Forphucsake: Got an update yesterday afternoon that it would be delivered Friday morning and it was. It is nice but to me it isn't as loud as people made it out to be. Doesn't bother me either way, was just an observation.

Can't really test as I am at work though.

  • I got sent a few updates telling me it would arrive one day, then an apology saying that the delivery date was changed and finally one a couple of hours before delivery.

Mine just came in the mail today. However, the third and sixth rows of the keyboard are stuck displaying a solid green (and also tends to mix with a requested colour). It could either be an electrical fault in the PCB or a firmware or ROM corruption. If it is possible to reflash the firmware from the OS side, it might be simpler for Kogan to provide a means to do so rather than a full RMA.

The fault described is pictured here:

      Mine came in today.

Having issues with the numpad. Pressing 1 or 2 will produce 12, 4 or 5 will produce 45 and 7 or 8 will produce 78.

I've just emailed Kogan Support and awaiting their reply. Hopefully it's a setting thing.

Similar issue but with a batch of alphabetical keys. Typing 'N' gives 'NM', 'Y' gives 'YU', and so fourth. Have also contacted support. Reminds me why I haven't bought a Kogan product in so long…

        • They got back to me and said it's faulty. Sending me a brand new replacement.

      • Same problem with mine 56, TY, GH, BN
        Kogan QC must be terrible.
Still waiting for reply from support :(

    • Kogan has since dispatched me a replacement without an RMA.

      • The replacement that came in the mail today had the same issue with its 5th row, guess I just got unlucky.

  • Received the keyboard today. Looks great with the backlit lighting but damn, the feedback is not wrong, it's freaking loud!

I'm happy with it and feel pretty comfortable to type with other than the noise from the keys.

Thanks for the post OP! Great deal!

  • Had a look through the manual and had a few random key presses - but to save time thought I'd ask if there is a way to get a constant non-white led colour on the keyboard

    • +1

      Fn del I think

      • Thanks for that - worked a treat

  • Got mine today only to find out it is a tall enter key. I'm pretty bummed out. My right pinky doesn't reach the regular enter location. Any chance for a swap?

  • Anyone that got one delivered, how long is the cord?

    • +1

Just over 1.4metres from keyboard to plug

  • not the biggest fan of the keyboard
the keys are not as loud as my actual cherry mx blue
and the enter key is kinda annoying

  • Mine just arrived. Can confirm it is a US layout with the weird enter key. It's definitely different than the one I ordered last time - I thought it would be exactly the same, sans Kogan logo, but it's not. My last keyboard had a nice braided USB cord and this is just a plastic-y one. Bit disappointed!

  • I've received mine yesterday and its the UK layout as per the image on the site. They keyboard itself is great for $35 however I would have loved for this to be US layout as using the backslash is now a massive pain as a sys-admin.

Keen to see a new US layout variant at the same price point.

  • Mine arrived this afternoon. I'm typing this with it now. First time using a mechanical keyboard and I'm liking the sound of the switches and everything in general.

Quality is better than I expected to be honest. Sometimes it's hit and miss with Kogan stuff. I was hesitant knowing about the UK layout when buying and was a little excited when the manual/leaflet in the box specifically mentioned US layout before I had actually seen the keyboard but alas its the UK. It doesn't seem like a big issue to me though.

  • does anyone know how to make the LEDs light the entire keyboard one color? I've tried everything. I notice Fuc + DEL changes the color of keys, but how do I then make that color on all keys of the keyboard??????
if anyone can help me I'd highly appreciate it.

    • FN + INS till you get the the multiple lights in a solid colour (as in no fading or switching). Once you are on that setting then do FN + DEL to cycle through the 7 solid colours.

      • yer i was showing my bro the functions and i found out pressing Fuc + ESC takes it back to default LED mode (rainbow) then I noticed when I Fuc + DEL then, the keys all lit up one color. it was stressin me trying to figure it out haha. thanks so much :D

  • The keyboard I receive is slightly bent. Doesn't sit flush on the table which is annoying?!?

    • Was the box damaged when it arrived? Take a photo as evidence and contact Kogan support.

      • No obvious damage on the box. Seems like a quality defect. Decided to just layer some electrical tape on one side. Seems to work well. Other than that keyboard is decent for $35!

        • Fair enough. Yeah quality for $35 is pretty good!

  • Just received mine… Doesn't work when plugged into the PC. Only the scroll lock key lights up. I think its a driver issue?

  • +1

Mine seems to work fine except the scroll lock light stays on when I switch off my PC. Is this the same for everyone?

    • +1

Mines doing the same and is pretty annoying as it's a strong blue light that lights up my room.

  • Mine arrived today. Every time I press 4 or 5 on the number pad I get 45. I've bought a bunch of keyboards for less than $5 but this is the first time I've received one that was faulty on arrival.

    • Yeah that's the same as mine with 1,2,7,8 additionally affected. Contact Kogan Support about this issue and they'll organise a replacement.

  • Received mine today, seems the top half of the LEDs have trouble displaying blue. Have contacted support so will wait and see what they say.

  • Got mine today. I'm happy with it. The build quality is good for the price and it all works correctly.

I've never owned a keyboard with RGB before and thought it might be annoying (this was an impulse purchase), but it has presets that aren't bad at all, like one that lights individual keys as you press them. This may not be news to some, but for me it was.

  • My first mechanical keyboard and pretty happy with it. Can someone test if the scroll lock led comes one? For mine, it doesn't come on but will flash if i turn off the keyboard leds. FN+Ins to turn off the LEDs for the whole keyboard and FN+Del will cause the 3 top LEDs on the top right to start flashing.

  • Mine seems to have a driver issue. Will occasionally drop out and windows pops up with "Device not recognised" and I have to unlpug and plug back in device to fix. Board will not work again until I do this procedure. Very annoying problem. Anyone else have this issue? Can't find specific drivers for this board on kogan site.

Contacted Kogan for an RMA in the meantime.

    • I'm getting the same issue too. I've found that turning off the LEDs (Fn+Pause) seems to help. Can only guess that the LED circuitry or whatever seems to wreak havoc with everything else and makes the keyboard drop out.

  • Have been using mine for a few days. Like it very much, but it is quite loud!

  • Did we ever get those drivers to make individual programmable buttons?

  • only the bottom three rows light up for me no response to my emails
