Razor Turbo Jetts $99 @ Kmart

480

Long time lurker but i felt this is a really good price. Bought one for myself at Eastlands VIC and plenty of stock.

Price comparison:
Kogan - $199
Catch - $199
Target - $199

For those unfamiliar, this is a motorized roller skate.

  • Doesn't have anything to do with the deal, but regen braking?

How much do they weigh. Could be handy for short airport trips (ie hire car spot is 2km up Road from chc airport). Taxi charges up to $30!

      • The box was pretty light, maybe 2.5kg? Definately able to carry in a backpack.

    • No regen but swapable battery packs.

    Does it have RGB?

  • Up to 30min usage.. seems pretty pointless. But maybe you can still use them when out of battery, similar to those shoes with a pop out wheel. But then maybe the integrated shoes are a bit more practical.

    • If you're walking less than 30 mins between power points on a regular basis (i.e walking from and to public transport to home/work) then it's pretty useful. This scenario would apply to a lot of people.

How would they not look like absolute tools, though?

I just can't think of an urban transport scenario where this would be acceptable.

        • oh yeah, didn't mean to imply they'd be any good.

Suitable up to adult US12 🤔

And up to 80kg. Perfect for me.

      • I wonder if they still go 16km/ hr with 80kg strapped to them

        Not for most ozbargainers

I love all types of personal transportation.

Put a 100A/H AGM battery in a backpack… wires going down the inside of your pants to the shoes and they'll last a lot longer.

I dont know how tunzafunn001 would go with that at the airport

      • A couple rigged in series… Got to catch me first.. Haha

  • Funny how this is "legal" and electric kick scooters (and similar) aren't.

    • With how silly the Turbo Jetts look in the youtube video, cops would feel too sorry for you to fine you

Although they'd be doing you a favour to fine you to get you off those things

I bet Elon Musk invented these and gave them to the world so people could get to their Tesla's easier!

      This is the first and only one I watched;

Having broken my ankle just before Christmas, this made me wince.

That guy shouldn’t be allowed outside.

My brother buys his son a bike for Xmas last year.
They take their bikes down to the skatepark & he breaks his ankle.

This year he buys his son a scooter…

Ten minutes at the skatepark & he wrecks his shoulder

      • Yea… After watching that video I think I would rather have a Turbo Folding Chair with inbuilt foot rest and drinks holder!
