  • Interesting. I didn't realise that DVB-S was used in Australia. Seems that it is only ABC and SBS at the moment from what I have read.
    Could be a good solution for those out of DVB-T range or those that want to receive interstate ABC channels.

    • And overseas channels.

      My family have been watching overseas channels over DVB-S for like 7 years now.

    • DVB-S is just satellite. It will pickup the channels from Optus C1/D3 (Foxtel)… but most of them are encrypted. You can decrypt them with a legitimate card and a softcam (and of course a DVB-S tuner)
