  • Why aren't the keys available? Is this a USED product?
If so… why are you quoting RRP? Noone pays RRP for a second hand product.

    • +6

      Do you buy used products?
If you do, what do you use as a reference point to determine a suitable price for said used item?

      • Yes I do. And then I am now t looking at RRP. I look at he state of the product.
And who is to say this pic is representative of the lot?

        • +1

I look at the rrp / brand new selling price then look at the quality of the 2nd hand product to see if the price is justified. You are stupid if you don't look at how much it cost brand new.

Keys not being included I can understand sometimes. These may have had restricted key systems in them and they would not wish to give that key or lock to anyone else.

      • +1

Item can be taken to any locksmith and a key cut .
These are used items that have come to us with no keys.

    • Used item and thats the way we received it.
Can order key in for $ 40 extra.

While I agree that $25 each for these cabinets is quite good, surely this is more of a classified ad than a deal post??

What is the regular "used" price if these cabinets?

    • A office furniture used seller at Roseville has them at $ 100 plus .
new thay would have cost $ 390 each
Check CSM website for new prices.

    • Regular used price $ 100 plus as per used office furniture seler at Roseberry

Some free advice - the customer is always right.

Name calling and dobbing belongs in the school yard.

I doubt OzBargain is the site for your business acumen

        • +7

          Won’t attack but will retaliate?
I don’t think it’s good for your business to be arrogant here. But it’s up to you.

@Lord Fart Bucket: Taken on board .
First time I have advertised on oz Bargain.
Did not realise so many hyenas and time wasters out there .
Will let moderator handle any unjustified comments next time.

            @Lord Fart Bucket:

I don’t think it’s good for your business to be arrogant here. But it’s up to you.

I can tell you it already cost my business. I have a project at my local school where I was trying to source something like this for their storage and I was going to purchase and donate these to the school

After reading how OP speaks to people on here and on their eBay feedback page, I have decided that I will continue to shop elsewhere.

If one cannot suffer "fools", then maybe dealing with the general public is not for them?

    • used pc's are regularly posted. I don't see the difference when there are more than 10 available.

  • Please see sellers other listings by clicking on arrow , top right hand corner next to name.

    Anyone knows how?

    • Hi ,
Did a copy and paste job off ad off a another website .
      about to edit ad
      regards

Well we do get sellers promoting used PCs, those SFF HP and Dells from business that have refreshed to new gear, quite regularly, they are also not new, and also refurbished phones.

    • You are right. I guess that office furniture is just not a desirable item on ozb. I withdraw my toxic comments.

      BTW username checks out

      • +3

I guess that office furniture is just not a desirable item on ozb

Not true. First deal with this seller's secondhand chairs received 57 + (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/429473)

        • I just reread the description in that post. It sounds like an ad for a friend.

  • This post belongs on gumtree otherwise ozbargain will go down the drain with regular posts like this. I have used ozbargain for many years and this is a first time sighting of a gumtree ad.

  • -2

This belongs in gumtree or 2nd hand classifieds. Should be taken down

  • +2

Ozb needs a Used, refurbished, 2nd hand category that can be used for filtering as I only want see new stuff from trusted sellers.

    • new section for used or refub would be usefull ….

  • -1

Hyenas took the opportunity to jump in again like this deal:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/410682

    Hypocrite everywhere.

Used PC, refurbished phones, used office chair are all ok.
But desk? No, it belongs to Gumtree.

    • +2

Because packets of drinking straws is totally related to someone selling incomplete office cabinets…

OP has come in here and got offended when people ask questions.

When asked "How is this a bargain compared to your normal prices" they quoted a RRP and some other used office furniture seller down the road.

I think it is fine to post a bargain, but what I feel most people here are trying to convey is that this comes off more as an advertisement for excess stock. There is no website to buy it off, there is only one photo, there is no information on how this is a bargain, other than comparing a used item to RRP new stock.

If OP had have come in and put up links to their ebay listing/web site/facebook store… anything, and said "Cabinets $25, normally $100" and a link to some more information on these cabinets, then I think the reception would have been completely different.

Well, that and not gone on personal attacks against users may have also helped.

      • Sold out, I guess many do see this as bargain.

That to the certain hypocrite who forces their definition of bargain over everyone else.

        • +1

I guess many do see this as bargain.

          Either of two things happened here;

          A) A lot of people saw it was a bargain and didn't upvote it, which is a shame.

          B) OP is full of (fropanity)

(I'm betting my house in the latter…)

          • @pegaxs: With the toxicity of the hyenas, I bet many is afraid to vote.

            • @Entropy Sky: How many did you buy?

              • @pegaxs: How toxic do you have to be?

And read the post by Neil, this is correct place to post.

Only 2 cabinets left boys - keep chattering while the quick grab the bargains.
Thank you Oz bargains - fantastic site to sell heavily discounted items . Cheers !

  • +1

Humble apologies - a newbie just realised there is a classifieds section on oz bargains .
    Will list there future bargains.
Now can someone tell me how to cancel this post as have sold all these cabinets.
    That was quick .
    Thanks

    • +3

FYI: Hit the "Expire" button. It is underneath the Key Tags, above the "Report" button, and to the right of the Expiry Date.

Then optionally hit the Red "Expired" tag in the title to change to "Out of Stock".

classifieds section - will list there future bargains

Might as well since your store will likely be banned for 90 days and more if this voting trend continues.

      • -3

        Thank you for the info.
It has indeed being an experience in my first sale on Ozbargain.
Did not bargain for the rubbish spewed out.
anyway sold out in double quick time.
        Winners are grinners !
Lemon suckers - suck on that . Lol !

    • No, classifieds are only for personal use. This is the correct place to post. Comments saying otherwise are misinformation as we've had many deals selling used furniture. The previous deal for this store was very popular, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/429473.

      • I cant seem to upvote you?

        • +2

Mod posts can't be voted on, presumably so people don't neg news they don't like out of view.
