  • Thanks, been looking to get one if these for a while

  • Seems a crazy price for a short SD card adapter. While you'd have to do some research for your specific model aliexpress sell them for US$1.21 (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1PC-Micro-SD-Card-Up-to-64G-…)

    • Ive got one of them, its too long and sticks out of the my macbook unfortunately.

Thanks OP been itching for one of these for a while, good price!

      • TO be fair did a little more research and this is only $15 and looks like it will fit

It must be a new product because when i was searching approx 6 months ago all i could find was the ones funkygibbon posted or the original baseQI ones. Oh well lesson learnt, at least i get the quality made one.

    • True, except I don't have a macbook, and they only seem to make the knockoff ones for fruit products.

40 USD was a bridge too far but I can deal with 25 USD + GST as much as that is probably still 20 USD too much.

Could take a stab at a 3 dollar cheapie but what the heck.

  • Can't seem to link, but you can find much cheaper versions on ebay. Not same quality, but for under $3 worth considering.
Just search on ebay for "mini size card card adaptor macbook"

Edit: what the gibbon said above

Seems like a good place to store porn.

Not that there's porn on mac.

  • my XPS is the other way around. there's a MicroSD card slot, but no SD card. no USB-A ports either. what the hell am I supposed to do?

    • So you want to read SD cards? I assume you have type-C connectors, if so something like this type C hub, which has an SD reader, from Verbatim might work (https://www.verbatim.com.au/accessories/desktop-accessories/…). Looks like it's about $35 from officeworks (but their site is down at the moment). Bonus is you'd also get two type-A connections to boot.
