if the charger was missing how did you manage to order the whole kit?
I dunno. Just chose the nearest store in my area and it stated that the items were in stock and my order went through. Went to pick it up and was only there that I was told that one item (the charger) was missing and that it will be sent to me by post instead.
I've just moved into a new home and wanting a beginners set like this to do basic DIY stuff.
The main 3 I would use is the 2 drills and blower.
Would this be suitable or should I get something better such as the Ozito Power X Change that someone earlier recommended? I'd have to buy an additional blower I know.
Go for the Ozito PXC gear IMO. Far wider range of tools available including Garden stuff which would be very handy for your new home! Maybe also look at buying the tools one-by-one whenever you actually need them and/or whenever they come up on sale. Wont take you long to build a decent collection as most of the more popular Ozito PXC tools usually go on sale a few times per year. Also, the Ozito PXC Batteries can be had in decent 4Ah and even 5.2Ah capacities and represent amazing value for money when on sale… the 4Ah has been as low as $30 in the not to distant past!
I purchased a similar pack from Masters just before they closed for $100 but it didn't have the blower or driver (think it came with a torch). Ive used the recip saw for trimming branches and cutting up tree roots, works really really well - much better than the Ryobi One+ electric chainsaw.
Yeah I got that deal as well, the recip saw is very handy. The circular one not so much..

From what I was told from the store the blower is not available in WA - so called the 1300 and when they sort the glitch out they will call back…….
Successfully ordered as click and collect on the website and within 30 minutes I got a call saying they didn't have stock of one item, presumably the blower. So they just called me and said they need to order more stock from melbourne and when it arrives they will ship all items out to me free of charge. Noice! Don't need to go and pick it all up, winrar.

Even if they are you are still looking at 60 to 70 bucks, for that I can probably just buy an Ozito skin and use my mower battery. I am noy really a fan of blowers and already have 2 jig saws and a chainsaw so dont really need those. Still if I coyld have got the kit for 150 I would have pulled the trigger

Just picked up the tools and when I got home , noticed the hammer drill is not cordless !!!! Really pissed off , will go back there tomorrow morning .

They should send you a email when it's ready to be picked up.
I would love to hear how well these tools hold up over the next two years. Please report back. Based on what I've read here this stuff is just landfill.
bit of a mixed bag, time will tell, I think maybe the Battery is underpowered so with a 4Ah battery maybe a different story.
I have had good / bad experiences with the cheap end of tool market but for the use I have planned hoping they will do the trick..

Withthe average drill being used for all of 60 seconds a year for home use, expect a lot of happy people regardless of the quality. For the same reason if you are not a tradie this deal is great.

I was offered a refund, but would rather get some new gear.

Got everything delivered. Quality is better than expected for $150. Too bad there is only one battery….
And too bad I have to to my local store because my battery doesn't charge.
So just got the whole set today and a few initial thoughts
Body of all of the tools are ABS plastic and very minimal metal any where. Overall feels solid.
*However the grip finish on all the tools are poor. There are small gaps between the rubber skin molds and the body.
But for home DIY its adequate.On off - Trigger are snappy and engage well. The buttons Forward / Reverse / are flimsy. Pushing them feels like they are poorly fitted and you need to push hard.
Maybe they will get better with use (Or may they will just snap off.. lol)I've tried both the impact driver and drill. Other than the buttons they did well in terms of drilling / impact driving. In fact, vs my Bosch Blue GDX 18V driver, it felt a bit more powerful and quicker to screw in long screw into two pieces of wood.

Having issues with the blower saying pick up from stores. But then it says the store doesn't stock it. All other items appear in stock. Bummer.
