      I'm guessing they're trying to encourage more people to visit Hong Kong during the hotter months, which is generally when people avoid Hong Kong.

    FYI, byojet is part of flight centre group so should be pretty safe. This is from someone caught up in Bestjet fiasco recently - so thankful for travel insurance!!!

      Did your travel insurance cover you for the flights? My sister went with BestJet and had comprehensive insurance but was told that only delays or cancellations due to mechanical error were covered.

  If you do BNE, make sure you route through MEL, unless you are very familiar with Sydney Airport.
  For newbies, the experience of transferring from Domestic to International at Sydney airport can be very daunting. I know plenty of first timers who underestimate the time it takes to get between the airports and miss their connecting flight.

  Melb airport is easier to switch between the 2, walk out 1 door and go next door and walk back in.

  Sydney Airport should really do what Hong Kong did, add a rail line between the 2 terminals within the terminal.
