    • Yes. You can. During purchase, you are asked to select whether you want to port in or a new number. Select port in and provide all the details. When the sim arrives, verify your identity and activate the sim. Make sure you use a new email to enjoy the cashback.

  • Newbie here. If i turn off auto recharge, am i still considered as a customer after a month or two or does the sim gets deactivated if lapsed? Do i need to close my account?

      Amaysim tracks new customer according to email and mobile service number. So even if you turn off auto recharge or mobile service number become inactive after long period (up to 1 year) of no recharge, you would be still an old customer if you use the same email for new SIM purchase. To qualify as new customer, just use a new email for new Sim purchase.

    • You have to cancel auto renewal after activated.

      • Have done it already, changed to BPAY.

  • Tried 2 times using CR mobile app to buy. But each time got stuck at the payment details page and gave up in the end. Very frustrated. My question is will my new email address be registered by Amaysim even though the purchase did not go through?

    • Check by trying to log in or change password using those details - it'll tell you if that email isn't on their system.

      After taking up so many of these deals that's what I do to check I haven't used an email variation before.

      Why would you risk $35 cashback, rather than follow the instructions (use a different email) in this deal?
      TA goes to a lot of effort to give clear instructions so we don't miss out👍
      And why encourage others to make the same mistake??

      This deal is about the $35 Cashback, not spending $10 unnecessarily using an old account & only get a SIM. Just follow the instructions!

      Tracking (showing cashback expected if you followed the t&c) & purchase have almost nothing to do with finally receiving Cashback! Tracking confirms you bought through CR, that you are in the CR system, not that you met the conditions of the deal to receive Cashback!!

      Whether you receive Cashback is determined by Amaysim much later. Using an existing account goes against the new customer condition in this deal.

      Agreed with Infidel. Definitely a bad decision to risk the $35 cashback with an used Amaysim email. Don't bother to even try. Just use a new email.

  • Still no tracking over a day later. I couldn’t cancel it either, as apparently they’d already sent the sim. How long until I’m able to put in an enquiry? (Yes, followed the steps correctly and didn’t receive an error message).

  • Mine tracked but I mistakenly gave a gmail address that doesn’t exist. So confirmation from Amazon hasn’t come but CR has tracked. I am not sure if the sim will come. Not sure whether to cancel or just to hope for the best.

        That works for me HPJ - changed an old account.
        Your email has been updated, you can use this to log in to your My amaysim account from now on.

        But as new accounts require verification of original email address, may not be able to access account to change!

        Could ask Amaysim to change.

    • Number is not required. Surely you know the email you gave?
      Use that to log in & reset the email - as shown above.
      Otherwise chat with Amaysim, providing time & your details used to set up account - ask to change email.
      If the email doesn't exist, they probably have had emails returned.

  • I use a differnt gmail account when i made the purchase and crate new account from amaysim website during purchase.

    But the phone number is the same as previous account as I am switching phone numbers and I didnt realize that this number was previously switch to amayzim.

    The situation:
    - I use a differentemail
    - I use same old phone number since I switch number from Catch to amaysim but I realize tis phone nmber was previously switch from amaysim long time ago.

    If they are checkin only email address- i should be eligible.
    If they check the phone number, then I use an old phone number which was already registered with amaysim.

    • I think once you switch out your number is no longer considered amaysim so you should be fine.

  • Received an error, then clicked 'try again' and got a new error. Then got two emails with invoices with different numbers and two x $10 charges on my credit card. had to ring amaysim and it created duplicate accounts for the same number.

    They said cashrewards promotion is noted on my account. They are deleting one and refunding me one of the $10 charges. Hope this doesn't affect cashrewards tracking.

      • I signed myself up with no error on checkout, no amaysim confirmation or cashrewards tracking (after 2 hours). I signed my friend up and that was where i received the above error; no cashrewards tracking but got amaysim invoice/receipt…

        Yet when I rang amaysim re my friends when getting the error, they said cashrewards was noted on my promotion. Should I be cancelling both orders or waiting the 7 days for the tracking email to appear and if it doesn't contact via CR support?

        • This is totally up to you. Cancelling and re-purchasing has worked for others as you can see. The alternative is note 14 in the OP.

            @tightarse: I cancelled my order with amaysim and then reordered (slightly diff email address), via the CR app instead of browser (with wifi off) and it tracked immediately - bingo! Thanks TA :)

    • I went through checkout and got an error… decided to give up! A few days later noticed 2 charges on the CC and 2 letters from Amaysim in the mail with sim cards (same service number weirdly).
      These guys are hopeless….Will contact them shortly.

          • @kelasen: Can you please try purchasing via the Cashrewards Mobile App (with WiFi disabled) and report back if the error persists. Want to eliminate the possibility of issues with WiFi and corporate firewalls. Hoping amaysim is keeping tabs on this thread so they can fix the error. Thanks!

                Finally problem solved with the help of Amaysim chat. There was an old pending order on my phone number which they deleted and hence managed to order it again via Cashrewards app. Got the tracking email. All sorted.

                Still no tracking email on my sister's Cashrewards order though (in day 2) :(

    Cashrewards history shows I click on amaysim store.

    BUT I did not get any email confirmation from cashrewards.
    I cannot see amaysim purchase in up in myrewards tab.

    I purchase early today and I only recieved an email about the receipt and now I received another email that the sim is on its way.

    Where can I make a follow up about the cashreward and what details are needed ?

    I made a purchse for myself and for my wife and both didnt get any email notification.

    Nothing in spam folder.

    Should i wait for 1-2 days before cashrewards sent out confirmation of tracking ?

        I can see in cashrewards 'my click history' amaysim mobile at the time i made the purchase.
        I dont see amaysim in "My rewards" records and I didnt received an email for tracking.
        I use dot in gmail account and I received the confirmation from amaysim that I have a new amaysim account.
        I recieved the purchase details and now an email that says it is now being delivered.

  • I would like to know what browsers people are using that are giving errors when purchasing and which browsers are getting successful purchases? I've found Edge to give errors including double charging. Chrome has been successful 2/2 times.

  • All good here, received 18th Jan and CR has tracked.
    Only downside for me is the 28 days use started from the day of purchase, so in my case only 25 days left.
    You'd have thought it would start from the day of activation.

    FYI, the SIMs for the test purchases we made at Cashrewards on Jan 15 just arrived in the mail today (Jan 18).

  • Received the simcard yesterday. I was going to activate it just now & apparently it's been activated. The duration left is 26 days (until 14 Feb).

      I've just logged into the 'my amaysim' dashboard with one of the test purchase SIMs and received this message:

      Welcome to amaysim. We're excited to have you with us! Verify your identity: This is a security measure required to prevent someone else from applying for a service in your name. Your SIM cannot be activated until we verify your ID.

      After verifying my identity, SIM was confirmed active and full 28 days applied.
