I go here all the time! Always pay $5.20 - $5.60 depending on the drink, will be handy to have a bunch around ;)

  • very good…. but too bad u have to choose which location ur gonna redeem at =/

  • DAMN YOU VICTORIANS, FIRST YOU GET AWESOME PRICES ON BEER AND NOW YOU GET CHEAP EASYWAY! - jokes :)

In all seriousness, whilst this is a good price, it seems like a bit of a hassle to pre-book your venue. Not to mention, pulling out a coupon to save a dollar or two for a one off drink just makes you looks stingy in front of your mates :P

on behalf of us mexicans, i dont know what your on about, we have the least amount of stores of the states that have stores (currently just 2 with 1 opening soon)

and i dont mean to offend anyone here, but these chains tend to cater more for the asian community (in vic atleast) , which probably explains why I dont see the appeal in having decorative floaties in my drinks

for $2 though its a good deal

  • +1

Why VIC only? I see lots of other states in the locations.

  • +1

Good point, my local store in NSW is on the locations tab! Woohoo NSW pride is back

  • I bought some for Brisbane too. Think it's Australia wide…lots of places in Qld is listed too. $2 is a great price as they taste great. Please note however they are too sweet, so I always ask them to only put half the amount of sweetness otherwise I'll be bouncing off walls!

The title on the link to the website says "$2 to create your own regular-sized Easy Way Drink with a Topping of your choice. 72 locations NATIONWIDE. Value $5.20", so it's not just for Victoria.

  • If you want to see the other stores available, you have to change your location at the top of the website!

  • Never tried Easy Way before (tried the competitors many times)!
    Just bought 2!

  • So… What is Easy Way, there's ones near me.

  • not as good as chatime deal since they were large sized drink - but still worth it if u missed out!

  • yeah change the title to nationwide

  • -1

    Hi all,

We just want to clarify that this deal is available at 72 locations nationally, but you need to select your location at point of purchase.

This deal is for a regular sized drink and it includes one topping. The CHATIME deal was for a large sized drink without topping.

    Happy bubble tea drinking!

    The OurDeal Team.

ummm the chatime deal did include toppings if u ordered a drink of the menu that had a topping in it… It just didnt include extra toppings on top of that

I know cos i still get my premium milk tea with pearl topping from chatime!

  • Also, redeemable from the 29th April to 31st May 2011.

  • Right, so I got one.
So we just give them the voucher and be done with it, no more to pay?

    • I would hope that at least you stay around to specify your drink and collect it. :P

      • I'm considering it….
        Haha.
I'm a bit skeptical though, whether the people running it will believe that this is legit, and that I have already paid the $2

        • I think that's why you have to specify your location, so that the store has a list they can check against.

  • Not just VIC… anywhere

  • Last time Chatime voucher will show the location. But this time the voucher does'nt show the location. If we buy multiple vouchers for different locations. We need to markdown which batch is for which, or their computer will reject the wrong voucher?

  • Great deal, wonder if you get a credit on your easyway when you redeem this deal.

    • Not valid for points on Membership Card

  • mmmmm weird about the regular not large thing…..the voucher value is 5 bucks and thats way more than the regular drink isnt it? cant i just get a large and pay whatever is extra like we did the Chatime deal? also no location noted on the vouchers lol

    • Is there a unique code ? I think each Easy Way branch has a list of unique codes that they validate before accepting coupon. That's what happened to the Chat Time deal anyway.

  • I bought 10 :-)

    Hi,

There was an issue with the location not populating into the Vouchers. Within 24 hours, you will get another email with the updated location for each of your Vouchers. If you sign in to your account, you can also download the Voucher from the 'My Account' tab.

All new Easy Way Deal purchases have locations on the Voucher.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    The OurDeal team.

    • Ah ok, so that's why I got a second email, I thought it was just a hiccup of your mail system.

Sweet deal, i'm in for a couple (too bad the 1 month expiry date though)

  • +1

Hopefully there won't be confusion from the Easyway staff when we try using it.

  • Wow, I've never seen a group buy deal with over 10000 bought before!

    • +1

I said the same thing when I saw the previous Chatime deal exceeded 20,000!

  • thanks a lot. 11,600 already sold out

  • Just ordered 1, it's at 19277 and increasing!
I actually saw this deal yesterday but ignored since the title says VIC. Then stumbled upon the deal from another site. VIC should be removed from the title since it's available in multiple states.

  • The awkward moment when you try to use the voucher and it hasnt started yet :/

  • I just bought another on (they are only down the road from my work, so why the heck not for $2!!), still have another 4 days to consider more, lol.
Now sitting at 24948 - holy cow, thats $50k!

  • The thing which is stopping me from buying is the fact that there's only 1 location in Melb CBD. The wait can be quite long as it is during weekends. With this deal as well as the 1 month expiry, not sure how long the wait will be.

    • Yes, convenience is abig factor, for me its a 5min walk, so well worth the gold coin

  • Great!

    • Oh herrow, and I agree :P

  • Bought a couple of these for Canberra city store but the store attendant said the vouchers were not valid at this store when i went on saturday (correct store chosen and dates were valid). He said they werent a direct franchise… wtf?!

    • My friend said Cabramatta didn't accept it too. So bullshit. They're advertising 2$ easyways and then not accepting it when you get there. I'm sure that's something the ACCC can bust them for… probably under s52 Trade practices act (misleading conduct).

  • Yes - it is true i went to the cabramatta store and there is a sign there saying they can't accept it. Not only is this misleading on easyway's part but also on Ourdeals'part. Can OurDeal Ambassador please confirm which sydney stores the vouchers can be redeemed at and i also notice that the deal is still active on ourdeal - if this is the case i think Ourdeal should amend the locations to ensure that only locations that can accept the vouchers appear. Also please confirm whether other easyway stores will accept vouchers purchased for other stores that arent accepting it. I have emailed easyway admin but no reply at all. Very disappointing.

  • didnt work in hurstville either. wrote to ourdeal and they said there has been a 'small communication problem' and will resolve it this week so heres hoping

  • Easyway Macquarie centre did not accept the vouchers at all. Very poor on Easyways behalf, the Chatime deal was more organised and actually worked! Called up Easyway head office to complain. They told me that it was only the one store experiencing "problems" with their computer system which meant they could not honour the deal. Obviously incorrect information looking at peoples comments here. I have written to Ourdeal for a refund.

  • Pretty poor considering how long easyway had time to get their act together since the deal was open on ourdeal for a long time (over a week) plus the extra couple of days in between the deal being completed and the vouchers being valid

Yep chatime is much better organised and their teas are actually better… i think im goin to chatime rather than easyway from now on cos of this bs from easyway

  • I also went to Easy Way in Melbourne and they do not want to honour the 5 vouchers I bought. Even my friend who lives in Sydney is also facing the same problem.

Guys this is clearly a scam and these companies have taken our money without giving us the promised product in return.

ACCC needs to be informed about this problem and we need to report them together to combat this SCAM. This is ACCC phone number: 1300 795 995 or fill in the complaint online at: https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/content/index.phtml/tag/reporta…

  • Not to contradict the reports of problems that people had, but fortunately I had no problem using 2 vouchers at Market City on Sunday. I saw that they had a printout with a list of valid codes and they attached my voucher to a pile that they had accumulated.

Obviously Easyway needs to get their act together or it will become a PR fail for them.

  • i got an email from easyway HO yesterday to say that the technical difficulties at Cabramatta have been resolved and that ourdeal coupons can now be redeemed. For those that have been having issues with their local - i suggest try again and if it still hasnt been resolved contact easyway HO or ACCC.

  • Hi all,

Thank you for all of your feedback and comments. There was a minor miscommunication between the individual franchisee and the Easy Way Head Office. This issue has now been resolved.

We appreciate your patience and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

  • Used mine this morning, got a chocolate tea and pearls. I wouldn't recommend the pearls, they clog up the straw and they are pretty flavorless.

    • I used the big straw as well and they also clogged up for me too. I used my first voucher on this cold Melbourne day, but I'm not sure whether I'll go again at full price after I've used my remaining voucher. Base prices are more expensive than competitors, the pearls aren't as sugary/tasty and they get clogged in the straw and the milk tea flavour could be more strong…

      • Second and final voucher visit was better. This time I had the Honeydew Milk Tea with Pearls (and less ice). The sweetness of the Honeydew syrup really helped with the plainer flavour of the pearls (compared to Bubble Cup and Lucky Cup). Less ice is good ask for, especially if you're drinking these in May - despite it being a relatively warmer May day (at 17'c) in Melbourne today, plus you also get more drink!

I await seeing more of these type of deals (from all bubble cup vendors)!

  • use the big straw if you want pearls

  • oh and choc is probably one of the worst u can get

    • I did, it still clogged.
      And I LIKED chocolate
