  • Great deal but $15.00 for delivery to Brisbane Metro is steep considering the postage fee is 75% of item price. Does anyone know if they offer unlimited, free delivery for a club sign up fee?

  • Anyone aware if this is any good for use on artificial lawn to pick up small rubbish particles?

I almost bought this yesterday but read the few reviews saying the power was crap. If you're talking about the small rocks and dirt that pile up on fake lawn I would hazard a guess that it wouldn't be strong enough.

    • don't know about this one but it looks very very similar to a GMC one I had from about 10+ years ago. That worked quite well for everything I asked of it until I sucked up a heavy gauge chipboard screw/bolt not long ago and broke a blade off the impeller. That made it vibrate too much so I ditched it for the Aldi petrol one, which is noisier, much smellier and doesn't work any better. Plus is no cord though.

For $20 I'd buy it, the GMC originally cost me $55

Primarily reviews say it sucks… because it doesn't suck (or blow much either).
    Pass.

    • Yeah same. Gave it a pass after reading reviews.

      • And yet you still posted it on OzB as a deal….interesting.

        • No, I posted the deal first. Did it around 1.30am. :/

  • tempted to get one just clean out pc towers haha

  • it is a good deal for blowing and drying car after wash

+1 That's what I do to blow out excess water from hard to reach areas in my car so I bought a small electric powered Ozito blower. Now I've got a cordless one from the recent SCA bundle deal. No more extension cord for me. Bliss.

      • Which model? how much it cost? might get one

I'd recommend the ozito $50 one from bunnings over this, getting close to that price with delivery anyway

  • Surprised that this one is pretty gutless as looks very similar to the Ozito one from Bunnings ($49).

Got the corded Ozito early in the New Year and very impressed with its power (both blow and vac).

    • Can it vac the grass strips left after mowing?

      • +1

        Can't see why not.

Used it to suck up a whole lot of leaves and small sticks from grape vine & hedge pruning.

Worked quite well, producing a fine mulch to put back on the garden bed.

Worked even better, especially for the sticks, after left pruning litter for a couple of days to dry out. Loss of moisture from the leaves & sticks made them much lighter, therefore much easier to vacuum up and mulching function more efficient.

Current weather in Southern capitals means you don't have to leave it too long to dry out pretty well.

Grass clippings should be fine, either straight after cutting or after bit of time to dry out.

        YMMV ;-)
