[NSW] BLACK+DECKER 5.4Wh 3.6V Lithium-Ion Dustbuster (NVB115JL-XE) $5 @ Bunnings Alexandria

900

Hey folks as always i was out looking for bargains and stumbled upon this deal BLACK+DECKER 5.4Wh Lithium-ion Dustbuster. I bought two one for me and one for my girlfriends parents no need to Broden a deal!. At $5 each its a true bargain even if its only for nostalgia purposes.

I didn't have high expectation at only 5.4w (Single 1.5amp 18650) but its not bad i used it to clean around the computer desk and it works fine. I did try it on the floor (carpet) and it works fine for crumbs. Suctions is meh but it does work probably no late night sessions with this vacuum lol. Now i can read Ozbargain comments and spill crumbs on me and vacuum them up of my shirt like a true fatty hahaha.

On clearance for $29 at our enemies business.

      • so unprofessional

Black and Decker is so shitty, you are better of picking dirt by hand.

Don't know how old you are but years ago B&D was a respected brand in power tools and produced some quality products.

      • +4

True, had a B&D vacuum, lasted 10 years, even though the battery did not hold enough charge was good to get like 5 minutes of good run! Could not find replacement battery otherwise would still be using it!

        • If it has a battery it can be replaced, though this one would probably be Ni-Cd, which is not so good.

  • +4

    Save your $5.

  • Suctions is meh but it does work probably no late night sessions with this vacuum lol.

    …so much unnecessary information

5.4W? you can only collect mozzie corpses with that….

    • +1

5.4Wh is referring to Battery Capacity, its equivalent to 1500mAh.

      • +1

3.6V? you can only collect mozzie corpses with that….

      • Nevermind. Missed it by that much

    • Buy 2, rig em in series!…Powwwwwaaaaaaaa

  • I have this, as OP said its ok for vacuuming crumbs or under couch cushions. Comes in handy as I have a robot vac for floors so means I dont have to get the big vac out very often

    one for my girlfriends parents

    • one for my girlfriend’s parents
FTFY. Remember, punctuation kills, especially if your girlfriend finds out you have more than one girlfriend.
    • Or..OP is dating siblings?

    • how do you know he doesn't have girlfriends?

      • How do you know the op is a He?

    Is it enough for car?

  • Dustbusters are great for picking up just the tiny bits of lint after running over it three times.

  • +4

For only $5 this will come in handy on the nights that the wife won't do it!

Half the comments here suggest this thing actually sucks. The other half suggest this thing really sucks.

    So confused.

    Good for the car?

    A Dyson V10 or 200 of these?

    • +1

      A Dyson V10 or 200 of these?

Just go and buy all of them from Bunnings and put them all on eBay you will have a free V10.

      • Clever.

  • Anyone see them elsewhere at $5?

    • Yeah they had them at the Nunawading store in Victoria several weeks ago. I didn't post it because they only had maybe 10 or fewer left, and figured it's a pretty crappy vacuum anyway. (I didn't buy one)

      Dyson ftw

  • Cheap as chips

  • bought one…..don't even need it, but what can't go wrong with $5?

  • Now there's a blast from the past. I remember having one of the early models from the mid 1980's. Worth $5 just for the nostalgia value and to have a laugh at the thought that 30 years later people are still buying these things.

    • Confirmed - I just went down there - staff said they all went in no time.

      • Did they make mention if it was available in any other store?

      • The power of ozbargain

  • Broadmeadows VIC had 2 left @ $30.
Shoed your pic and got it for $5.

    Thank OP.

  • Some at Boolaroo NSW 2284 store. Only reduced to $7.50 though.

  • I bought one before christmas, definitely worth the $5!
