  Grabbed one today, not yet sure if this wa a good or bad purchase.
  I used it out the back to clear grass off the porch and it really struggled with the damp grass. However, out the front the grass was dry and it worked great.
  Has a wide throw which made it super quick to clear the drive,
  The battery does t have the usual charge indicator, so that’s a bummer.

  Great deal. None of the Bunnings stores near me had any stock but stopped in at Keperra (Brisbane) on my way home and they had two but one was a demo. The new one was missing but they sold me the demo they had only opened this morning for 50. Bargain, such champions. I already have a charger and battery so I'll probably sell by the charger on ebay

  Just went from Oxley to Rocklea as they said they had a few in stock but the only seemed to have a display model. I took the display for $40 as I already have the battery and charger for the drill set.

  What battery comes with this unit?

  Is it the older style ones, or the newer ones with the battery life indicator button?
  If the newer version, pretty good price considering you are getting the battery and charger as well.

  2.0Ah is that perfect sweet spot of weight/power for most of the Ryobi One tools I have. I use the 4.0Ah for the circular saw and lawn mower, but the tools run perfectly on the 2.0Ah…. and I'm considering the above deal for the extra battery and charger.

      Nope. The indicator ones (gloss silver looking base, not the matt silver as pictured above) go down to 1.2Ah I think? Thin light weight batteries that allow for a little more manoeuvrability at the expense of capacity and some power. Newer tech batteries, and definitely better than the older darker colour ones with no indicator on them.

      I've got a 1.5Ah, 2Ah, and 4Ah. Definitely more power/torque available on the bigger battery- but its considerably heavier.
