I realise you can get this Blu ray cheaper online overseas but with this beautiful hardcover book on the series thrown in for free (this book alone retails from around $59 at the ABC shop) this is a good deal for Australian stock. Same deal applies for the DVD version.
Ran these two items through Amazon UK (Blu Ray version + Human Planet HC Book) and it comes to $51.38 delivered. For the few extra dollars this option definitely has a lower carbon footprint especially considering the weight of the book and keeping the business in Australia. For once the difference between Amazon and JB isn't that huge.

Another advantage of Amazon is they are selling it now. It's not out in Australia until May 5 although that is admittedly not too distant.
Amazon might be selling now but you still have to wait 2+ weeks for delivery. Acknowledged that can save a few extra $ overseas but for Australian stock this deal is unbeatable.

I was just looking at the amazon comparison prices and it's now just a tad more expensive and the prices are now comparable. for once, I think I might actually get something @ JB hifi - I've not been a fan of them for a while now.

The JB Hi-fi version isn't released until 5th May (11 days), then you have to wait for Auspost to deliver it. Normally my JB orders take at least a week to get to me. JB online aren't known for their timely shipping.
My last 10 Amazon.co.uk orders took on average 10.3 days. One took only 4 days (free upgrade to off-peak courier), the longest took 15 days.
The book and blu ray can be purchased together for $51 from amazon uk. However fairly good price for a local deal if you do indeed want the book as well. Otherwise way better off just ordering the series from amazon.
