  • Thats insanely good deal, right? Am i missing something here haha

    • Gotta be a pricing error? Can't buy second hand off gumtree for that!

    • yeah its an older FHD set.

I feel like everyone is after 4k60 HDR type sets so older FHD ones arent too popular.

But if you need a cheap FHD set here ya go.

btw, these are selling quick, every 30 secs or so it clicks over as 1 sold with only 10 left.

      • +1

Good point. really awesome deal but happy with my tv and its not worth paying 260 for a couple of extra inches.

        • +15

its not worth paying 260 for a couple of extra inches

What planet do you live on?

          • @kahn: Hahahahahaaha this cracks me up

          • @kahn: Hahahahaha internet sex

      • +2

Just bear in mind generic 4K TVs often have worse FHD picture quality/input lag than their 1080p counterparts due to crappy upscaling.

  • Never heard of JVL brand. Not the same as JVC right?

    • +16

      JV 'Lectronics.

    • Not the same

  • +1

No, not JVC or JBL. Another of these TV's posted here:

Only interested if it’s a genuine Panaphonics or Sorny.

      • +3

Sorny don't make 'em like they used to …

    • This is more insane.

    • +1

Only brand I trust is Sharpie

      • +1

        I prefer lookadetuv

        • +1

          It's ready for the hoood

  • +2

Pretty sure JVL is part of Soniq

    • Hmm. $234 for 43 inches or $260 for 50?

      • Some people may only have the room for a 43 inch TV (small bedroom or back of toilet door, for example)

        • Ah, no, I wasn't being sarcastic - genuinely trying to decide.

          • @Ozymandias: Measure up your viewing space, go for the 50 inch if it will fit. What distance are you viewing it from?

        • +1

Who puts a tv in the toilet 😂😂😂

          • +1

@Seedy seed: Hey - if you gotta put in a power point for your Xiaomi Smart Toilet Seat, you may as well make it a double :D

            • +2

@bdl: Lol, with how it smells when i hit the toilet up youd never stay to watch tv.

              • @Seedy seed: Maybe use the other power point for a Vornado fan then :P

    • Price for 43 inch has just dropped so new price is $218.40 with POOLTIME coupon

  • Mmmm taste those juicy pixels.

  • $326 now

    • +4

take 20% off that cobber, it's the ebay code

    • +1

Reduces to $260.80 after applying Pool time code

  • Still no mention of AAC as a supported audio format?

  • anyone know about electricity efficiency?

    • +2

More efficient than a Plasma :D (if same as Soniq model below, 100W power consumption)

      • Thanks!!!

  • Cheers OP, decided to chance my arm and ordered one!

  • +1

    Wall mountable? VESA mounts?

    • I want to know too. I'm thinking no.
The 43" mentions wall mount and also gives dimensions with no stand. The 50" only gives dimensions with the stand.

    • +1

      Yes, 400mm x 200mm mount

  • the "smart" part of the TV doesn't work though. Apps won't run properly and cause freezes and resolution issues. You have been warned.

    • As long as the HDMI part of it works, I'm happy :)

      • -1

Hdmi may doesn’t work well or being flircking with some devices

    • Plug in a chromecast, roxbox ….

    • How do you even run apps? I have a button for YouTube but that's it. The sticker on the screen says Cinavision and Browser but I have no idea how to find them. Any tips?

  • Any way to pick one of these up from a post office, in store or from a depot? I love in an apartment with nonsafe place to drop

  • +1
  • is this mountable?

  • +1

    aaand they're gone

  • Oos

  • Deadset i got no more rooms to put tvs in

    • No more $$ to buy TVs.

    • +1

You can use my room if ya want~~

  • Did anyone hear from Grays Online about delivery?

I get a bad feeling they will not honour the deal.

    • No, not yet, however it has been a long weekend. My delivery estimate was later this week. Drop them a message via ebay and see what they say.

    • I just received mine about 5 mins ago - no shipping notification or anything, but still received it!

  • Received it today. ETA was in early Feb so I was surprised. Very happy with it. My first TV since I bought my 40" Sony Bravia KDL-40V2000 back in mid-2006. Still alive and kicking so never upgraded. Moved it to the spare room for the kids and have this in it's place

    • Lucky, mine hasn't even shipped yet.

Edit: others are saying they received with no tracking, will give it a few days…

      • Yep I wasn't given any tracking either. The ETA came from eBay itself with no number. It just turned up unexpectedly today

  • Mine got cancelled. Disappointing.

  • I just managed to score one of these. $259.20 delivered
