    No idea if we have this offer, but the shell stations around us are always 10cents per litre or so more expense than Caltex/woolies and Liberty and Freedom stations.

    We had a deal a few weeks back so checked prices again but even with that there was no saving.

    In Brisbane, Coles petrol stations are consistently 10 cents more than woolies and others, is that because of their petrol quality being better ???

      A monetary discount will always be better than a points offering for that same campaign.

      Especially when 2,000 points are equal to $10, that's a valuation of $0.005 per point. Thus 16 points is also equal to $0.08 per litre but it's not an instant discount as redemption is only possible in multiples of 2,000 points whereas the cash discount comes off your transaction instantly.
