    These are pretty good prices. 3 months ago I bought the XTar VC2 + 2 LG HG2 3000mAh for $55 off ebay and these guys are $2 more for the VC4.

    Do any of these charges have a "dumb" mode where they will attempt to recharge totally flat batteries or those < 0.8V?

      You shouldn't use batteries under their rated rate once discharged for a prolonged time. I'd turf them.

        I think poxy001 is referring to NiMh batteries. Your answer is correct for li-ion batteries, but wrong for NiMh batteries.

    A good price for the D4 is under $30. It is readily available elsewhere for $35 delivered.
