If you don't need it pronto, it's been $47ish (got it for this price in Oct last year, but doesn't show on the 3C's - does show earlier this year, though).

Would be great if it used a USB-C charging port.

      Look into the XTAR VC8S

  • Does it tell how many milliamps left in battery ?

    • No charger can tell you that. You can test the battery to see it's capacity with these chargers(full charge, full discharge cycle). You can estimate the battery's remaining capacity by measuring the voltage, 4.2V Full and 2.8V Empty.

Does not work with any batteries, just bare single cells. I foolishly clicked hoping for a powertool charger :-)

    • Will work if you have alligator clips and charge each cell individually. In fact a good idea to do so in cheap crap battery packs without a balancing BMS… like a Dyson vac.

Once a Dyson goes beyond 0.03V between cells it bricks itself. Perfectly working cels…dead.

      • Not just Dyson. I resurrected a dead Ryobi battery with alligator clips. It worked for a long time after.

  • What's the best charger to charge 1.5v AAA and AA? All in one charger preferred, but buying two is okay as well.

    • Most rechargeable AA/ AAAs are 1.2v (NimH and NiCD). 1.5v rechargeable are rare, but do exist.
      Mostly disposable batteries are 1.5v.

Sorry, doesn't help your question if you are truly looking for a 1.5v charger.

  • I actually preferred the specs of the Temu charger (as it also charges LiFePo4) cells.

*just realised this does 21700 protected cells. Temu version might not do protected cells. Can't remember.

  • You need to be aware that the maximum charge rate for Ni-MH / Ni-CD is 500mAh. Even though this is better for the batteries, it is quite slow compared to other fast chargers I own. So if you need a fast charger, look elsewhere, and I find advertising this as a fast charger without explicitly stating this misleading.

I was disappointed, but I ended up accepting with a partial refund on the 2 I bought from an Amazon seller. It is a good charger for Li chemistry batteries listed, and for cycling and measuring the capacity of older batteries including Ni-MH / Ni-CD, but if your battery is dead it's not going to work any magic.
